Despite being a fried chicken chain, I'd reccomend chicken cottage.

Proper hand made base and excellent value.

The main problem is they are cooked on one of those conveyor belt 'pizza ovens' which means if you like the base extra soft or extra crispy, tough luck.

The Asda 'make your own' ones are the dugs.

'Cooked' ones, prob the best I have had was in the 'Best Kebab Shop' I think it's called, on Leith Walk.

They also did roast tatties which were braw

I cannae comment on how good their kebabs are though, kebabs are just 'wrong'.

Top fives forum for this pish

Dario's on Lothian road is excellent, in saying that I've always been utterly pished when getting pizza from there so in reality it's probably pretty average,

Pizza hut is brilliant

ASDA's counter pizzas are fantastic

Even the £1 frozen ones in iceland are excellent

I had a pizza from here not long ago through Just Eat, I was very disappointed tbh. Heard it was decent.

Absolutely agree about the Tatties  can't get them anywhere else like that. Love them.

If I get a pizza its always from Angelos Chippy, bit greasey but its usually for when I'm hungover so goes down well.
