DieDee
So how about Sharp French Ashcroft/McGhee (half each) Sweeney Kerr McCowan Anderson Cameron Jakubiak Osei Sheridan Couldn't bring myself to put McGinn in there, even though getting punted out this cup wouldn't be a bad thing. Assume Marshall still out, any of the youths worth a shout in defence?

Play Jakubiak up front, drop Gillian and put Fin Robertson in midfield.

Hes already getting pushed off the ball too easily out wide never mind smack bang in the middle with another lightweight player in Anderson. That's an horrendous pick. We're on a good run and there's no match for over a week so this has to be used as a continuation of our run with some tweaks. For me: Lawlor French McGhee Ashcroft Sweeney Kerr Grayson Robertson Anderson Jakubiak Rudden Thank you. Bigmouth Strikes Again
Bowyer backing up McGowan on stv news. Feel we've missed the rage/experience in the middle, and it could be crucial in the run in. Get fit soon Gowzer. Thank you. eta Want to see what the hair is like as well. A back 5 of McGhee, Ashcroft, Sweeney, try Grayson left centrehalf (I know you’ll slaughter me for this but he’s pish in midfield, so let’s see if he can offer us something elsewhere in a position we’re short in) and McCowan so we keep the same shape and give all the guys who haven’t had much game time or not featured at all the opportunity to play on the system that is working so well. Rest French after his injury late on in Saturday’s game. Ideally I’d change the whole 11 but we have no options at the back due to injuries and loans. I’d go 5-4-1 with 3 midfielders pushed high up the park. Sharp McGhee, Ashcroft, Sweeney, Grayson, McCowan, Robertson, Osei, Anderson, Cameron, Jakubiak

Ludo*1
Williamson, Byrne, French, Robinson, Marshall, McGowan and a few others unnamed with a sickness bug all ruled out for tonight to the point Bowyer is talking about using the youth squad for the bench.

Atleast bowyer has said "we just need to get on with it" and is not crying about the situation like Billy Dodds is.
SweeperDee
Greg Stewart just shared on Instagram that clip of him turning about 6 defenders inside out 3 times in a row before slotting it in the bottom corner. Can’t mind who it was against; county maybe? He missing Dens? [emoji848]

Don't doubt he's missing Scotland, but he's busy being a star in India, and good for him.
perthsaint1977
Really impressive start to this game tonight. First time I've watched Dundee this season and playing some very nice football. This could be messy for Falkirk
Pens_Dark
Think the last few games has pointed out the potential that Fin Robertson has. This is what happens when he has a chance at a run of games. A good technician in midfield that should be given the opportunity - only going to get better in my opinion. As bad as Falkirk were (they really were rotten) I thought we were superb in controlling the game and our press was fantastic. Everything since the Partick game seems to have clicked, Bowyer found a formation and an 11 that worked in that second half and it has rarely changed since. All that combined I think Bowyer is really starting to get his style of play drilled in to the players.

Meanwhile, Falkirk look stuck in League One forever. Thank you.
Spikethedee
Would agree wholeheartedly with the last couple of posts on here. Just two quick observations from last night: It was great to see Mulligan making three or four of his trademark powerful runs at the Falkirk defence after he came on. Grayson looked out of his depth against a pretty poor League 1 side, he shouldn't be starting for us again. I thought Falkirk looked half decent in the 2nd half, played the ball on the ground nicely, but we just pressed with so much energy that we snuffed them out. Great to see Fin getting game time and a goal. I thought Cammy was immense last night, he typifies the energy shtick, a bit like the legendary Bobby Cox he is definitely a better left back than a right back. Plus for all the slagging I have given him, special mention for Zac Rudden - a fantastic shift
