RossBFaeDundee
Youth player Luke Graham, who had the attention of the Old Firm, Sheffield Utd and Arsenal in the summer, has just joined Albion Rovers on loan. Hope he smashes it and comes back better.

A blend of youth and experience, that's the way to go for us, looking good just now, a good 3 or 4 coming through/progressing.
Ludo*1
Looks like the loan window is closing without an addition.
This Charming Man
Impressed on the surface regarding this week's announcement and presentation regarding the 'proposed' bold new stadium plans. All still white noise at this time unfortunately, only time will tell. Dens Park Stadium, a historic and extremely hard act to follow, imho. Cue Dark Blue heartbeat image, lol.

Boo Khaki
Bowyer finally changes the CB & GK trio and it produces back-to-back clean sheets. Iffy level of opposition, granted, but I'm crossing my fingers that he's seen the same things most of us have and realises Sweeney is a liability and Legs a bit more assured than Sharp is right now. I'm not going to kid on that I don't think we'll still leak goals against better teams, but even if we cut out half the howlers we'll still be far better able to claw our way up the table. I think Mulligan needs a wee break. It's inevitable you'll get dips in form with young players, and I think he needs to sit on the bench for a wee bit to get his spark back. Playing him out on the right hasn't helped, but I think playing him for 90 mins in every single fixture isn't the way to go about bringing him back to where he should be.
Shadow Play
3 points for the Dee. United beaten at home by St Johnstone. I’m going to see Morrisey in concert tomorrow night. Not a bad weekend at all.

This Charming Man
Nice one @Shadow Play, enjoy and have a good day in Glasgow. As the man would say, "And when you're dancing and laughing and finally living, hear my voice in your head and think of me kindly". Yeah, in an ideal world Sweeney is on the bench with Marshall to cover for injuries, think Bowyers sussed it now though.
SweeperDee
Date with copper was fine; went to Porters and was a bit disappointed with the food but she seemed keen. She didn’t know who the new boy was that we’ve appointed so he can f**k off as far as I’m concerned.

He's spent nearly 35 years as a copper after playing professionally for about a month. I'm not really sure where or what skillset he will have that's transferable into the role. I'd love to be proven wrong but as I say - worried. On 29/09/2022 at 20:33, This Charming Man said: Likewise Dele, this ex Dundee reserve player has served longer having a successful career with Tayside Police/Police Scotland than the likes of for example Gary Harkin's has spent in professional football. Another astonishing John Nelms' appointment. At least Gordon Strachan hasn't been given permission for Mark McGhee's return, albeit whilst obviously allowing Mutt's to reside down south. We don't appear to have a financial pot to piss in player wise, however looking forward to the new stadium two seasons from now. Regards as always. Gary’s been involved in the club’s youth set up for a number of years. As for the playing side of things he would’ve played senior football all his days if he didn’t choose to go into policing. He pretty much got chased out of Airdrie because he said in the match program the person he’d most like to meet was the Pope! If you talk to Gary he clearly knows his stuff about football and he’s very likeable guy that I doubt very few will have a bad word to say about him. Gary will easily get people on side with his personality and is the type you want representing our club. Would imagine his role is very small tbh, doubt he’ll have anything to do with agents and with being recently retired from the police doubt he will be on much money. Not much to fear in this appointment imho guys. Watching a game of football and figuring out who’s good and who’s not isn’t exactly difficult.
