I genuinely wonder how much we’ve spent on non playing players or if there were deals in the background that made it worth it with a 2 year deal for chapman being the most recent of the top of my head

:Jeremy mal(something), arturo, the Dutch guys yordi and Randy (something), Sean bonnet Johnson, Tom field, Nicky Hamilton , the panther missing anyone? And that’s just what I mind …brutal

There's a story in the courier today. Its just their speculation for now though - does say we still have Chapman though Girth https://12ft.io/proxy?q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.thecourier.co.uk%2Ffp%2Fsport%2Ffootball%2Fdundee-fc%2F3654844%2Fdundees-deadline-day-frustration-what-happened-next%2F Girth

The 12 foot ladder has stopped working for me?

Dorrans has left Dunfermline. That might give McPake the budget to get Byrne in on loan.

McPake can f**k off. We’re still dealing with his shitshow like the contract extension to permanently crock Jakubiak 😡

What is the deal with Jakubiak anyway? What sort of injury does he have and how long is he out for?

Just the usual pulled up with no one near him at the Raith game If I recall correctly.

Another gripe with the club is there doesn’t appear to be much in the way of any info about what injury the players have, how their recoveries going and where the f**k the likes if Chapman is. What’s the script with Sheridan, has he had another setback or is he just not getting selected 🤷🏼‍♂️ Some club for continually paying a decent wedge on boys being out injured

It did for me the other day too but seemed ok again when I tried it today 🤷🏻‍♂️

Think they are probably getting grief from the companies they are doing out of money tbh...

Cheers man. Commuted to a week on the naughty step. Felt a perma-ban was a bit harsh anyway tbh. Hopefully Asim gets back as well, I can't believe he got binned. In fairness to whichever mod binned me I had regularly been a bit of an arse in that sub-forum.

Got the same for retaliating against abuse from old man Danger, anyhow, good that you're back.

Thank you.

If it frees up some money for a loan that Bowyer wants then much better than having a player around who has been told he can go.

Jakubiak is shite. Has been given every chance at this stage.

3 players lined up and not got one over the line....painful.

I’m curious as you are a 2 team city do you have a large percentage of Dundonians that turf up at both teams depending on who is well and the opposition they are playing? Or is it just as tribal as anywhere else?

Used to be like that in the olden days, not so much now though.

This was a big thing in the 50s/60s when Dundee were the big team but folk pitched up to support the other local team. By the 70s United were very much the equal of Dundee and went onto big success and folk, in general, picked one team to follow.

I used to go with a few mates to watch United’s European ties at Tannadice in the early ‘80s when they were playing big name European teams.   Kind of weird feeling because me and another Dundee supporting mate wanted United to get beat obviously but were keen to see another round of European football.

In my defence there were hardly any live games on the TV and the only European games you’d have on the TV were the finals.
