I will be amazed if some chant to the tune of "Big Jock Knew" isn't heard.

My point was, he will be getting chants of "paedo" and the likes from whoever he comes up against (as evidenced by last night). I'm just not sure why Rangers fans chanting that (or something similar) would be seen as more harmful than it coming from St Johnstone or any other set of fans.

Have a look at the videos posted of the incident. It's almost all Rangers fans commenting on it. With plenty of vile. Or tagging the SPFL begging for a severe punishment.

Yes your fans can’t be trusted as you proven by not even trying to deny the fact that you’ll be singing anti catholic songs

I never denied it because I believed it had nothing to do with the point at hand.

If you are saying he should be protected from anti-catholic songs, then that's fair enough.

If you are saying he should be protected from "paedo" chants, then why would that only apply vs Rangers?

He's fucked.

You could see he was gone in the warm up and nothing during the match changed. Just someone who doesn't want to be a on a football pitch or in that environment at all.

Absolutely no idea why Dundee bothered loaning him when anyone with a brain could predict what was coming his way and how he'd react.

This narrative that you're blatantly making up and have been doing since we were even linked to him is very unsavoury IMO.

Yes? My point is, why is a chant of "paedo" more harmful to Griffiths coming from Rangers fans, as opposed to fans of any other club (St Johnstone) in this matter?

He clearly lost the head at them chanting it last night so where is the difference.

Because St Johnstone have about 6 fans. It'll be a bit more malicious from Rangers.

It's going to be a lot more unsavoury than 500 folk shouting "paedo". That's why.

The bigots among the away support on Sunday are going to use this as a justification to shout whatever they want at him.

I'd argue that the number of fans does not change the malicious intent of a chant. Whether 95% of 500 chant "paedo" or 95% of 2,000 chant it, it still carries the exact same malicious intent.

If your argument is that he will receive different types of abuse then that's fair - I'd assumed the remark was initially made in regards to the "topical" abuse that he'd receive.

Yet still less trophies than Dundee.

Only one cup to go until all you've got is your one league win 60 years ago.

Can't wait 😁

Aye, so 2 more major trophies then. It's taking you a fair while like.

Can't wait for your league title btw.
