He'll swoop in for the last couple of games and then be an immense presence in the play-offs, leading us to the promised land.
Mr. Alli 11,461 Report post Posted February 18 Sad it took him so long but glad he spoke up and got the help that was/is needed. Good to read the club were understanding and helpful, too. Welcome back anytime in my book, Kano. 🔥
Yenitit 2,660 Report post Posted February 18 Not ashamed to admit that’s totally changed my perspective on his transfer. Gutted at the time when he left in the summer when the national and local press up here stated it was due to him not accepting a pay cut and that we’d been taken for a ride. Now there’s a lot more to the story than the press made out. All the best Kano.

Glad Kano's put it out there, an important message for anyone struggling similarly. Absolutely! He will also be helping himself by talking openly about it. Better than any medication.

Always loved Kano, great talent, and was fucking amazing for us. All the best Kano. Thank you very much.

Just read the Kane Hemmings article, good to see that he's starting to come to terms with it. We fans never really know the inner demons that some players have to deal with and in the rough and tumble world of competitive professional sport I guess its not easy to put your hand up and say "I'm struggling here". I read an interview with the ex Queens winger David Weartherston after he had retired and he said that he got so nervous before games that he was often physically sick and it was something he never really mastered. Then of course there was the really tragic case of Chris Mitchell who was part of our side that strolled League 1 when we got dumped into the seaside leagues - Chris was magnificent for Queens, a really talented player but when he dropped out of the game he couldn't cope, so sad. So hope more are like Kane and seek help if they have issues, well done to him!
RossBFaeDundee 5,002 Report post Posted February 19 ICT game rescheduled for Tues 2nd March at 19:00, Dunfermline game rescheduled for Wed 10th March at 19:00. These rearrangements ensure we play 7 games in around 21 days. Three weeks that will make or break our season.

I have got a weird feeling this could be good for us, a wee bit of squad rotation here and there, but I prefer it like this or at least I would if I were a professional

rainbowrising 595 Report post Posted February 20 I dread the thought of any more cancellations. This squad doesn't have the depth required to match any injuries in that run.
Dundee-FC92 1,984 Report post Posted February 20 Starting today we have Hamilton and Kerr - substantial parts to our years of failure. Looks like McGowan is being played out wide again unless he's behind the strikers which would make no sense against QoS with their threat outwide. If it's a 4 4 2 with McGowan out wide then it shows the continuous nature of McPakes inability to learn as a manager. Win, lose or draw McPake should be out the door at 16 45. We may well get away with it today, but his shocking tactics will take us nowhere in the near future. Thank you.
