All things Dundee FC

Things feel pretty shite right now, it has to be said.

Callachan is a blow, but not unexpected. If a player gets the offer of a top flight team at the best of times they'll take it nevermind when they'll have to wait an additional 2 month for the Championship to kick off.

Meekings is no loss.

Paul Watson signs for Dunfermline.

So that's Championship teams making signings now?

"Sorry guys, we can't put you on furlough where we don't have to pay your wages as we have no money."

"Dunfermline Athletic are happy to announce the signing of a player"

Some Bois. .

Moral high ground is normally reserved for clubs who aren’t begging players to take a pay cut.

"Guys, can you take a pay cut to see us through the next 3 months?" - Dundee FC.

"Guys, can you collect your stuff and go. We know you have families to feed but we have absolutely no money and Paul Watson, our new signing needs a locker" - Dunfermline Athletic.

Good to see the steady business at the ticket office. Social distancing, hand sanitizers, one queue for season tickets the other for the shop. IMG_7324.jpg

Good to hear. I phoned 5 times but gave up and in the end I did manage to create a new account and renew online. There's a how to do this on the tickets section of the website, but no mention of it in the season tickets news releases. It's all not very user friendly but go there in the end.

MacKenzie was great player for us, but has suffered one injury after another. He would be a big risk.
I like Mullen and was 50/50 about us keeping him, as he's scored some cracking goals for us. However, sadly for him, he didn't score regularly enough to impress Goodwin.  Hope he does well if he goes to you.
Likes a goal against Dundee though.:whistle

McKenzie was good for is too although that view is not universally held. Maybe because he came with Alec Rae who was hated by elements of our support. If he’s injury prone Dundee’s the place for him.

A very bitter outlook.

As you know, because it's been pointed out to you before, most of the players who left would have done so anyway. More pertinently, and you know this too and are choosing to ignore it to point score, the chairman noted that he had advice against furloughing those players. It was never said it couldn't be afforded at the time (you've made that up) rather that the advice said there could be penalties down the line.

It might prove that there will be no such penalties, but the chairman wasn't taking that risk.

In addition to all of this, please tell us the start dates of Watson and Whittaker's contracts.

Oh, and yes, 'head's gone/seething/rattled' etc in place of any discussion.

Is he that big a blow though? We only witnessed him a handful of times, played 1 decent game and in the others he was average at best.

Yer fellow Par Grant made an absolute rip roaring c**t of himself a few pages back.

Ok. Not sure how that's relevant to me though or how it makes me a hypocrite.
