Maybe I'm putting too much on his shoulders but I really hope this break allows Nelson to be back for the monumental Paisley clash.

You really aren't the only one. It's not just Nelson's scoring habit but the pace he injects at the top end of the park.

Peaso Macdonald
We were utterly dreadful that day. Dumbarton scored a perfectly good goal that was ruled out for offside with the ball played back and I think there was a dodgy clearance off the line.

Letheren was a bit dodgy at times but there were a fair few games that season where his heroics gave us a fighting chance. Peaso as well was just lethal.

Been a bit bored today with the lack of football so trolled through all the information I could find to work out each managers percentages. I could go back further, but I can't pinpoint Stainrod's first game exactly, but here's the stats since Duffy in 1993:

Jim Mcintyre - GP: 24 W: 3 D: 7 L: 14 WR: 12.50%

Neil McCann - GP: 65 W: 22 D: 9 L: 34 WR: 33.85%

Paul Hartley - GP: 138 W: 48 D: 37 L: 55 WR: 33.83%.

John Brown - GP: 39. W: 18. D: 8. L: 13. WR: 46.15%

Barry Smith - GP: 102. W: 39 D: 27 L: 36. WR: 38.24%

Gordon Chisholm - GP: 21. W: 8 D: 5. L: 8 WR: 38.09%

Jocky Scott - GP: 65. W: 31. D: 13. L: 21. WR: 47.69%

Alex Rae - GP: 97. W: 42. D: 22. L: 33. WR: 43.29%

Alan Kernaghan - GP: 37. W: 9 D: 16 L: 12 WR: 24.32%

Jim Duffy - GP: 142. W: 44. D: 38. L: 60 WR: 30.99%

Ivano Bonetti - GP: 90 W: 29 D: 21 L: 40 WR: 32.22%

Jocky Scott - GP: 95 W: 35 D: 18 L: 42 WR: 36.84%

John McCormack - GP: 47 W: 22 D: 15 L: 10 WR: 46.81%

Jim Duffy - GP: 137 W: 57 D: 42 L: 38 WR: 41.61%

The average Dundee manager has a total of 83 games in charge of the club.

If you're still bored you could pull up their points per game average?

To echo some of the chat on The Dark Blues, is there anyone out there who will be relieved with a return to the Championship next season ? Not part of that crowd myself but just interested to see if there is anyone out there ?

Relieved would be the wrong word. I see the small positive of offloading many of the players and starting fresh, but we seen a lot of ins and outs this season. Thay and I doubt how much would really change for the best.

Going down will be bad. Financially devastating and would dump us into a group of formidable opponents. The championship is no joke.

Personally if it could be avoided, that would be preferable.

You'd have to be a special kind of moon unit to welcome a return to The Championship.
