Ludo*1
Before it gets made premium, here's the quotes from Bowyer's latest interview: "We've missed out on quite a few already. It's been difficult, it's been hard. Gary Ogilvie (head of recruitment) has been magnificent in identifying players. However, there are some we’ve just been gazumped, simple as that. Higher league, more money. “t’s been hard to get something over the line for us. The pool is not quite as big as we thought."
RossBFaeDundee
Who was the last manager that genuinely struggled to get players in for us? Feels like that's never been a problem before. Bowyer maybe finding it a bigger ask than expected getting English players up north?

Big test for Gary Ogilvie.
Derry Alli
Just been reminded we took on Oag's as head of recruitment, what a laugh.

Feels like that's never been a problem before. Bowyer maybe finding it a bigger ask than expected getting English players up north? Depends the reason. If it’s because Bowyer doesn’t want to waste precious financial resources on players that he’s not sure on or doesn’t think will improve the team then I’m OK with that. Did Hartley and McCann not bring in a huge number of players during their tenures? It always felt during their time at the club that they brought in more average players than was required and we often were left with numerous options in one or two positions with very little cover in other positions.

Bigmouth Strikes Again
Keyes either gets the cheque book out, or Bowyer pulls a rabbit out the hat, need at least three good signings here. Lets be honest, need to win this league, not going up through the play-offs. Prepared to wait for the correct ones, but it needs done. IMO.

Ludo*1
Lawlor not in the squad tonight. Unless he got injured today or has an illness I'd imagine that suggests he has a move lined up? Won't be the cheapest back up keeper in the league considering he's previously been a first choice down South. Would give us more money to play with in addressing the defence and as of today, up front.

Meant to be a decent set piece taker. Gordon Strachan's grandson. Only played a couple of times for us so you'd be better asking Forfar fans how they feel about him for a true representation of his skills.

Wide player, would say left back as that's his usual position but when I've seen him in reserve games recently he's been up on the wing. Has pace and a bit of skill, don't think he'll make it at our level but he did more than five for Forfar in League Two last season. He's also got a decent corner delivery in him, got a few assists for them last season. Should hopefully handle League One fine. Hopefully he'll do well with you guys, this is his chance to put himself in the shop window before his contract finishes with us. Never really had much of a chance with us unfortunately. Shadow Play
Fair play to Bowyer for the changes he made at half time BUT I just don’t get the starting 11. Plenty on here have repeatedly said that Rudden cannot start upfront isolated on his own and relying on the long, big punt up the park. Get that sorted Bowyer! Either don’t play Rudden or get the team passing better (difficult with the midfield we have).
Dee Bliss
How the f**k did we manage to not win that. Just have a go at teams like 2nd half. 1st half we were dreadful.
