Kawashima wasn't exactly good, but definitely not worse than what we already had. The other two keepers at the club were hopeless and had that routinely exposed by having the likes of Mark Durnan and Coll Donaldson supposedly serving as our defence. Waiting all that time for him to arrive only to be rewarded with a flap for the equaliser on his debut in the derby was undeniably a minter though. Kawashima was miles better than the other keepers we had that season, and produced a few performances that earned us points we didn't deserve. TBH, if it hadn't been for him, we wouldn't have made it as far as the Doon Derby.
