This season although it's early after January it looks like it won't come to McPakes saviour. Third time unlucky, there's only so many times you can play with death before it comes around and slaps you in the pus. If we could build a team in the Championship that could come straight into the top league and compete it'd be a start. If the likes of Morten came to Dens and we looked a level above them it'd be a sign we're maybe ready. In games against Hibs, Hearts, Rangers and Celtic we genuinely look so far off them it's often embarrassing. We're the worst team in the league with potentially St Johnstone giving us a run for our money. We are where we deserve and that's after three years of McPakes tenure. The only consistency over the three years is woeful football, massive defeats and overall failure. Thank you. Very well put, that's it summed up perfectly. McGhee/Byrne/Anderson doesn’t work, not enough skill. McGinn isn’t looking as much like GGS as he did in his cameo at the Steading. Byrne and McGhee were pretty non existent today, 2 defensive midfielders when playing 1 up front is never going to create much. He gets his line ups so wrong all the time. It's not difficult to sort out though, if you're playing a 4-5-1 then it's the striker you need to support, and play 2 attacking central midfielders and 1 holding centre mid, different if he was playing a 3-5-2, then it's the defence that needs the extra support. Why this is so difficult for him to grasp being a manager of a professional team???? Boys a fuckin idiot. Edit; Then you can totally f**k it up by, say taking of your attacking midfielder and replacing him with a winger. Tit.
