It's up to you guys who are regular at Dens to organize and make sure McPake and Nelms know the managers time is now up. Perhaps even at Riverside for training?

Not much us part timers can do other than lose (even more) interest in the latest shambles

Exactly this.... voices need to be raised....NOW!

No, it's absolutely not what we've just went through.

Under McPake in season one we were miles off an average Utd team including a 6 2 pumping. McPake only being able to field a team with one sole striker seen the likes of Nelson and Johnson leaving with scrambled signings in the January market where Berra give us a lift before Covid struck.

Onto the next season we slithered up in the play offs whilst needing a scrambled signing method in January to help us with McMullen, Cummings and Legzdins coming in to correct errors. We were utterly stinking but turned things around for four games in the play offs.

Not to mention McDaid played a part in us coming up as McPake began to play two natural wide men. Please don't forget McDaid was given to Partick on loan which only fell through due to Covid - the masterplan was McGowan out wide.

Over the course of the two seasons there was absolutely no improvement in style or pretty much anything, but we were promoted on the back of two great individual performances.

This season although it's early after January it looks like it won't come to McPakes saviour. Third time unlucky, there's only so many times you can play with death before it comes around and slaps you in the pus.

If we could build a team in the Championship that could come straight into the top league and compete it'd be a start. If the likes of Morten came to Dens and we looked a level above them it'd be a sign we're maybe ready. In games against Hibs, Hearts, Rangers and Celtic we genuinely look so far off them it's often embarrassing.

We're the worst team in the league with potentially St Johnstone giving us a run for our money. We are where we deserve and that's after three years of McPakes tenure. The only consistency over the three years is woeful football, massive defeats and overall failure.

Thank you.

Very well put, that's it summed up perfectly.

Thank you.

Your posts are usually amongst the better ones on here DTED.  This one though is pointless........well almost 🙄

Laughed more than what I should have.

Meh. All this been going on for far too long. Contracts are now signed for next season for players I think are duds for this league. Championship is where we are heading.

There’s a time when I’d have been angry at that today.

It’s now happening so often, it’s now just a minor annoyance.

Nothing is going to change so what’s the point in ruining the rest of the weekend?

McPake has had a shocker - but I'm a tad confused about how St Mirren fans are here showing off. Gogic is fucking hupny and Jones is a sand dancing shithouse (like Paul McMullan).

You started this season wanting £3m for your star man. Then your fans wanted him gone because he's been shit and would accept £300k. He then had a decent game and wasn't worth selling for £300k as he could get you up the league. He was sold yesterday for £100k (and subsequently it was worth it because his head wouldn't have been in it).

Funny thing is, the spirit is still quite good. This won’t be universally popular but we missed Gowser today. McGhee/Byrne/Anderson doesn’t work, not enough skill. McGinn isn’t looking as much like GGS as he did in his cameo at the Steading.
Almost giving up caring about this season, it’s us against Sainties for 11th.

Byrne and McGhee were pretty non existent today, 2 defensive midfielders when playing 1 up front is never going to create much. He gets his line ups so wrong all the time.

It's not difficult to sort out though, if you're playing a 4-5-1 then it's the striker you need to support, and play 2 attacking central midfielders and 1 holding centre mid, different if he was playing a 3-5-2, then it's the defence that needs the extra support.

Why this is so difficult for him to grasp being a manager of a professional team????

Boys a fuckin idiot.

Edit; Then you can totally f**k it up by, say taking of your attacking midfielder and replacing him with a winger. Tit.

For me I thought right at the start of the season and squad we had this is where we would be. Still think we will go down. Never thought it be St.johnstone we would be up against however.

Havnt been bothered in a long time. When you know you have manager who hasn't got a clue n hasn't for a few seasons what chance did we have.

But we beat killie in the play offs ....
