I'm just choosing to believe he was referring to more than one signing. He said they were hoping to get one done by the end of the day yesterday, and then they may get someone in tomorrow (today) and/or Wednesday morning. Probably was just a classic McPakeism where he's trying to cover his bases after revealing they were trying to finalise a deal before the end of the day by suggesting it could happen at any point between then and Wednesday, but I'm choosing to run with it lol.
