A midfield 5 from a choice of Adam, Allan, Chapman, McGhee, Byrne, Gowser, Anderson, McCowan & McMullan. Up front options of Mullen, Doidge, Griffiths & Jakubiak. As I presume Cummings will be away. All depends on where Doidge is in Maloney's plans. Doidge signed his new deal under JR, not Maloney, and he's wanting game time. Maloney's already paid a bunch for Melkerson and given James Scott a lifeline, on top of Nisbet and possibly Boyle still. Always respected him, and he certainly seems a decent guy, but it's absolutely clear that he's just guessing now and passing stuff off as 'exclusives'. His latest 'exclusive' is that we suddenly might be interested in signing Griffiths permanently... after he's been the one peddling that we're trying to get rid of him for the past 2 weeks.
