All things Dundee FC

We deserved the point because for all Hearts possession they got less threatening as the game progressed and us more so.
Probably not popular but once again Sheridan made a massive difference when he came on. We should start with Sheridan plus Griffiths (hard on Cummings but he can come on after an hour).

We’ve been doing a long throw for three years and Cammy has never taken one – I’d like to say it was something we worked on but it wasn’t!"

Surprisingly, having someone other than 35 year old men taking long throws paid off.

Hello, pals.

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted on here. I just wanted to swing by quickly to say a quick, ‘f**k hearts, f**k Craig Gordon and f**k Greyfriars Boaby’. A decent point yesterday — hopefully we kick on from here and get the job done midweek.

Thank you.

Robertson starting and Cove back to winning ways. Good Hartley is giving him fair amount of game time.

Mulligan on loan at Peterhead seems to be getting rave reviews. Anytime I’ve saw him, Finn, Cameron  & the other youngsters he’s the one that’s really stuck out to me. Powerful strong runner with the ball at his feet. He’ll be part of the 1st team squad next season.

Yes. Maybe later will have a look at some stats and see how abody is doing.  Just need to figure how where abody is.

1 at Cove, 2 at Peterhead and 2 at Forfar. A couple of younger ones (Murray and Wilkie) at junior level

Absolutely class scenes at the Dundee goal yesterday.

What football is all about and the feeling these plastic fans up and down our country will never get. It's all about the moments in football that make the utter shite worth it.

Seeing the pain in the Hearts fans as i jumped around wildly really will do me.

Stick that in a medicine bottle and sip it you Gorgie clowns.

Thank you.

Hearts have spoilt the Tynecastle experience a bit by not selling tickets for that front section.  It ruins one of the best things about having stands so close to the pitch.

Not sure about this season, but they were always £5 cheaper in the front bit, so Hearts 3-4 seasons ago started to sell all the back section first presumably to make more money.  Not sure if that section stays closed all the time nowadays?

Byrne to be out until christmas at the earliest... At least he doesn't need surgery but he'll still be a big miss.

"Dundee have received welcome news on Shaun Byrne’s knee injury.

The key midfielder found out today the problem does not require surgery after meeting with a specialist this afternoon.

However, the timescale for recovery could still stretch into months.

Byrne was stretchered off in the closing stages of the 2-1 win over Aberdeen last weekend.

That came after a challenge with former Dee Declan Gallagher in the middle of the park.

Dundee boss James McPake said: “We hope to have Shaun back between six to 12 weeks.

We will just have to be patient with it but we are delighted for him and the club that he doesn’t need surgery."

I'd imagine they're still claiming that section is "shut for maintenance" every week, apart from when Rangers, Celtic, and Hibs, visit.

An incredible coincidence.
