Scottish FA Chief Executive Ian Maxwell has written to all 10 Championship clubs asking if they want to continue playing or suspend their league.

Potentially lucky old Robbie Neilson yet again, prior to his teams' annual weak minded meltdown. I truly wonder where their Heart of Midlothian opinion lies on this subject?

Play all your games gents, as agreed.

Thank you

If that Neilson clown gets handed another league title, then the whole thing is a nonsense. Will take up birdwatching or something else.

Thank you.

Don’t suppose we’ve been linked with anyone bar McMullen and Clark? Or are we gonna have a quiet January ?

not that I see much business going on just now

Listening to the interviews on DeeTV - Much better quality now that it's done remotely and you can hear what the interviewer is asking. One guy is a complete waste of space with Charlie Adam and asks, 'Do you still think you can catch Hearts?' in a completely incredulous tone and then follows it up by asking, 'There's obviously some surprise that Celtic haven't recalled Jonathan Afolabi...'

Charlie doesn't rise to the bait for either question, thankfully.

McPake confirms that one of McDaid or Kerr are back from self-isolation the other should be back today all things going well. Confirms that we offered Nicky Clark a PCA but says he's not the only player he's after. On McMullan he says that he's been signed with a view to coming in during the summer and that nothing has changed in that regard as 'budgets were slashed and players took pay cuts so Paul McMullan is still a Dundee United player.'

Confirms that the financial uncertainty is throwing up opportunities where clubs can't quite offer their best players new deals just yet and we've got our eye on a couple of those as it gives us a chance to look at. Goes on to say that there's players in contract that we are also looking at.

Says don't expect anything this window especially since we can't put players out on loan thus strengthening our budget so we're more looking to the summer.

Adam Legzdins is back training, but Saturday might be too soon for him to be in the squad. Jakubiak has had surgery and is progressing well. Everyone else is healthy.

Looks like it'll be a boring January. Even more so depending on tomorrow.

The vote on whether the Championship gets postponed or not.

I don’t believe it is a vote , it is only a questionnaire based on some comments by a manager which were misinterpreted by the SFA , 7 clubs have already indicated that they want league to continue, due to testing taking place there is only a very small chance of SFA taking any action , numbers are no more than last week with actually today showing lowest number of positive tests since late December

All the numbers are going the right way but you wouldn’t put it past them.

Radio Scotland has just played the Neil Lennon interview from today. It’s 20 minutes of comedy gold and is a must listen to if anyone needs cheered up.

The man’s lost the plot 😂😂😂

Had a bit of a “We only went to Dubai to test our eyesight” vibe about it I thought.

The whataboutery of the interview is bang in sync with the usual pish from their support and the support of the other erse cheek. Aye but, aye but, aye but!

Quality stuff when he had to announce there was another positive test halfway through the interview 😂

To be fair it was ONLY 2 from their squad. Really to be commended in fact.  Going to Dubai should actually be part of the general UK strategy to reduce infections.
