The Nicky Clark stuff was a distraction for us signing Kyle Lafferty without anyone noticing.

Good signing imo.

I have a feeling he might show up at a title rival of ours, whether they need him or not.

Listening to the interviews on DeeTV - Much better quality now that it's done remotely and you can hear what the interviewer is asking. One guy is a complete waste of space with Charlie Adam and asks, 'Do you still think you can catch Hearts?' in a completely incredulous tone and then follows it up by asking, 'There's obviously some surprise that Celtic haven't recalled Jonathan Afolabi...'

Charlie doesn't rise to the bait for either question, thankfully.

McPake confirms that one of McDaid or Kerr are back from self-isolation the other should be back today all things going well. Confirms that we offered Nicky Clark a PCA but says he's not the only player he's after. On McMullan he says that he's been signed with a view to coming in during the summer and that nothing has changed in that regard as 'budgets were slashed and players took pay cuts so Paul McMullan is still a Dundee United player.'

Confirms that the financial uncertainty is throwing up opportunities where clubs can't quite offer their best players new deals just yet and we've got our eye on a couple of those as it gives us a chance to look at. Goes on to say that there's players in contract that we are also looking at.

Says don't expect anything this window especially since we can't put players out on loan thus strengthening our budget so we're more looking to the summer.

Adam Legzdins is back training, but Saturday might be too soon for him to be in the squad. Jakubiak has had surgery and is progressing well. Everyone else is healthy.
