You feel like a complete tit saying it, but on paper we should be so much better, you look at the names, and think the potential is there. Problem is, names on paper mean feck all, its players on grass that is important, and for various reasons, we just arent working. The collapse against Dunfermline has really been a blow, from a great position, real confidence building, good for goal difference etc, it almost feels like another defeat. Ludo*1 Posted December 18, 2019 Share Posted December 18, 2019 Of our current squad, only Josh McPake (January), Sean Mackie (End of season), Josh Meekings and Callum Ferrie have contracts that will be expiring in the next calendar year. If we do stick with McPake, and we are to take his word that we are to keep a more cohesive squad over future seasons I'd be looking at bringing in: Dan Harvie (Ayr) on a PCA to challenge Marshall and effectively replace the need for Mackie. Alan Forrest (Ayr) - Replaces the need for McPake and gives us more width.
