Hartley did get us into the top league and into top six first time of asking. Then lost his best players and went on a downward spiral.
So he was a young manager who did well with a part time team...
The last three however were awful, someone with a horrible cv and last two were people who hadn't managed a first team before.
Foreign manager be interesting just for sake of someone having a manager from outside the UK.

I wasn't in the least surprised by today's score, we don't look like we could beat Fort William at the moment.

 

McPake has no clue how to get, what looks on paper, a strong Championship squad playing to their strengths, or to adapt to circumstances during a game. What the actual fuckity-f**k is Nicholl doing? What input is he having? I knw it's not great to be changing manager every 6 months or so, but there's absolutely no way we will finish top 4 the way we are going at present. A change has to be made. A proper recruitment process needs to be undertaken, and Sir Barry can fill in until it's finished.

 

I would like to think that @DeeTillEhDeh could pay for any compo McPake is due with his winnings from this season???

I’d like to think there’s an evil genius pulling Nelms’ strings, and also heavily backing the likes of McIntyre and McGhee at the bookies. 

He phones up ladbrokes and asks the odds on McIntyre, the guy who answers laughs and says 50/1, he sticks on a whack and then tells Nelms about this master technician. Cha ching. 

Same again for McGhee, only this time it’s 100/1. Cha cha ching  

It’s the only logical explanation, either that or the illuminati or dragon royal family. This can’t be reality .
