Some of these comments are real eye openers

For what its worth, it was supposedly Irvine that stuck the head on someone rather than Mcpake

I found out about this about 10 minutes ago due to a posting on our thread.

The response from the Funsters on here is exactly what I expected.

As for the incident itself I’ll wait until the facts are available before making comment.

On a broader note, football managers/players should be able to socialise without getting hassled but they surely know there’s a possibility that it will happen and should have the maturity to respond accordingly or walk away.

Waiting till the facts are available before passing comment isn't generally your MO. Just wire in.

Not as simple as that though is it? You can't just go around taunting and provoking people. IMO.

It is that simple.  He has been charged and I doubt its for him and the other guy having a shouting match with each other.  I presume (can only presume at this point) he is being done for assault.  I can pretty much guarantee you the other guy - even if he kicked it off with insults - will face no charges unless it can be shown that he initially assaulted someone.

He’s been charged but that’s all; let’s wait and see.

It must be a pain in the arse getting hassled when you go out but people in football have to recognise that it will happen on occasion and be prepared to act responsibly.

If you have rarely seen one, I take it you have seen a handful then, and not in these "dodgy spots" we must go to. Therefore it still happens in the "nice places" you must frequent.

So it's quite a normal occurrence then?

You do realise rare and normal in terms of frequency are opposites? Talk about trying to twist what he said!

Yes of course I do. I'm not twisting anything.

I will make it a bit easier to understand;

The general frequency of pub scuffles;

"Nice places" rarely (according to poet)

"Dodgy spots" often (according to a few others)

Therefore it is a normal occurrence.

It's not difficult.

I think you should add "ce" to the end of your name then go sit in a corner with your hat on.

McPake playing a testimonial for the second consecutive Sunday tomorrow in Livingston. He better stay out of those fecking pubs.

Yeah, should just concentrate on night clubs. IMO.

what I find amusing about the mcpake situation is how many dabs seem to have climbed on the moral bus...forgetting that they once stood singing songs about a boy who was up for raping a comatose bird.

Don't forget the racism as well.

Thank you.
