I can’t be the only one concerned that our solution to ramp up our forward line is Stevie May , a man who hasn’t scored more than 5 goals in the past 4 seasons , with 2 of those seasons being 30+ games at a strong Aberdeen side where he will have nothing but chances the whole game, he’d be a decent squad player to have but would I pay what would be a massive chunk of the budget for an at best squad player the answer for me is a resounding no, people are only going with it because Curran isn’t a goal scorer and we will be lucky to have nelson play every week , surely there are cheaper and better out there

I see where your coming from but Greg Stewart had 2 pretty poor stints at Aberdeen under McInnes and we all know how good he is. McInnes mainly appears to set up with 2 wingers and 1 striker which was Cosgrove.

If May is over his knee injury then at our level he’d be a very good signing imo, as long as we’re not planning on paying him anything like the filth are for Shankland.

That numbnut will be a long shortly to tell us how Strachan’s a bad appointment 😂

Might want to think about signing players before wasting a wage on a paedo-sympathiser. But you do you.

We shouldn't be taking advice from a punter who follows a squad bloated full of over paid shite sent out on the park from a manager with no tactical nous.

Its almost as if you've forgotten you were sat berating them (again) for their performance. 10 minutes of decent ba' tho. 8)

And yet we were still able to get 3 points against an established league club while you drew with a team who’ve yet to play in the league and spent a good chunk of recent years without a home ground. Amazing that 😂

Oh, absolutely. A team managed by Colin McMenamin does provide a tough ask. We had to navigate a way past a team managed by none other King Dabslayer, HRH Paul Hartley.

Gutted for you and Hooly.

Im not sure I agree, if Miller had stayed he would have undermined Mcpake at every opportunity, through relegation we are in a lucky position of having no players , with a fresh start it would be silly to have that snake in his ear saying one thing to his face and another behind his back, with him gone its Mcpakes team

The saying “too many chiefs, not enough Indians” come to mind

Then it would've been up to McPake to wrap his pus and show a bit of steel.

Everyone's always said Miller is the model professional - don't know where the Dundee fans get the information on him being bad for the changing room. Probably from the same breed who make out McGowan to be a deep lying central midfielder and Kerr to be suitable as our No.1 right back (effort and passion aren't enough).

Thank you.

Kerr is absolutely fine at this level and will probably be the best right back in the league, such is the shite down here. Not a top division player, though.

Correct. Been a lot of shite written on here about players ability purely based on them being the posters favourite or not. I’d have kept Miller too

Agree with the above as highlighted, probably the same reason it would appear we're not attempting to sign Charlie Adam. He also has an opinion on most things football, mostly through his media work.

However, as a fledgling gaffer, I'd be attempting to harness that knowledge and experience to my and the clubs' considerable advantage.

For the record, Charlie has now appeared as a trialist for Blackburn Rovers on three occasions, scored three goals! The club apparently, according to the local press are not be offering terms and he's now being linked with Blackpool again.

Our team is screaming out for his talent in central midfield, imo.

Best regards

I would say he did exactly that by letting him go, a player by rights we should NEVER have signed in the first place IMO only Dundee would offer a 38 year old a 2 year deal even if they look after themselves like Miller does
