If we are reliant on him we’re fucked. Loan him out to arseend of the world united and be done I say. I agree that Woods and McGowan aren’t a good enough pairing, but to say that Paul McGowan would be to blame for us being relegated is nonsense. Scary though to look back 2 seasons at players we thought were shite at the time (e.g. Nick Ross) would walk straight into this team. The managers they have appointed have been poor, ultimately this could cost us.Exciting stuff as never know we may turn a corner we these new signings... Hartley did okay but losing Hemmings and Stewart at the same time for not a lot of money really cost him. The McCann appointment worked I suppose at the beginning but the board fucked up by not pulling out all the stops to go and get Jack Ross when McCann knocked us back. Not confident we’ll survive this season at all, but regardless we need a bit more stability in the team. Maybe people can use that to see his real worth. The only position he can play to some sort of degree is behind the striker, even then his legs have gone and it's quite embarassing watching some of his play now. The quality of our youths appears to be vastly improved purely going by their league positions. The time can’t be far off from when we start promoting from within and stopping the ridiculous turnover of players each season. Last season’s squad didn’t need an overhaul. Most of them feel entitled to top flight football and the pay it brings so jump ship immediately. I don't think it will be easy but it's probably the fastest way to fix the current squad problems.
