It's in the hall. First thing you see when you come through the door. To make it even funnier my father in law is an Arab and my five year old girl asked "who's that man?" To which I said that's grandad back when he was a young man playing football. Set that one up for when he is over next. Will be the first thing she says to him Edited October 14, 2018 by Crawford

Moo
Maybe not Jeffries as such but an experienced head should of been in alongside McCann and Gartland since the very start. Somebody older and a lot wiser to the game should be telling Neil at times in the game it isn’t working and it’s time to change the way we play.

Crawford
Was he no the Dunfermline manager when McCann was there as a coach? Now I'm really confused.
Shadow Play
Bringing in an experienced coach would presumably be cheaper than binning McCann and bringing in a whole new management team. McCann must also know that if he fails at Dundee he is extremely unlikely to land another meaningful job in management. Good chance an experienced coach will be brought in. If this happens though McCann needs to recognise it is to help him, not Gartland! The only question remaining is how come so many of us have said for so long this needs to happen and it’s only being discussed now? If it’s because of McCann’s failure to see how poorly he is doing then it’s probably doomed to fail! No way McCann would agree to the change if it was perceived that he wasn’t coping / good enough and needed help. The spin could well be to make Gartland the fall guy. You just wonder if the board have finally seen what most of us have thought for a long time - McCann can’t read and react to a game ‘in real time’. He needs time to analyse it. That could be a significant part of the reason why we are usually ‘reasonably’ good for the first 20 / 25 minutes but once the opposition make their changes we don’t respond the way we should.
