Dee Bliss
Alarm bells are ringing already. He looks pretty decent on his YouTube promotional video, Randy Wolters however looked phenomenal on his. For that very reason I’d be wary.
Dariusz
Why are we looking at a defender anyway.....? Worrying that someone on way out?!
Girth
Good riddance, his performance against Inverness last season at Dens was tantamount to throwing a game. Agree. Absolutely shocking excuse for a player.
Dee-funked
James McPake has retired from playing, just been announced by the club.
SweeperDee
Never good to hear. A thoroughly good servant for the club. Will be fondly remembered for his goal which started the DABs downfall.

Sorry to hear this but we all probably thought this was always a strong possibility. I’d like to say thanks for his great effort and true commitment as a Dundee player, especially 11/08/15 at Tannadice. He started what Craig Wighton finished! Louis Litt
Gutted for James but not surprised. He's been an exceptional ambassador for the club though and I'm happy he'll still have a role here. Very classy statement which praises the club a lot, too. Hopefully he has a successful career from here on.
Louis Litt
Also, that goal was complete and utter carnage and arguably triggered their downfall and relegation. Fucking great lad.

K.T
I’ll always remember James fondly in the Dundee shirt. He had his bombscare moments, but from that glorious goal against the dabs to the spectacular tackle that shattered his knee and cost him his career, you could see he was derried. Glad we’ve kept him on as a coach as well.Thank you.
Dee Bliss
All the best for James in the future and I’m glad the club has looked after him. If you’re looking in James, thanks for the 1st nail in the coffin that led to Wighton 90+3.
Netan Sansara
McPake had his flaws, but even for that goal as others have said he'll be remembered very fondly at Dens. Really good statement from him, a bit nicer than the usual Twitter screenshot of the notes app and good on the club keeping him on.

The Master
At the time I was convinced the referee was going to give a foul on the goalkeeper. But you see the replays and you see it's just momentum that took him through. #scenes
RawB93
If you’d asked me a month ago if I thought he’d play again I’d have said no outright. Still, I was pretty sad at seeing the news. Good to hear he’s still with the club as he is indeed Derry’d oot his nut. [emoji1320]
RossDee01
That goal was fucking carnage and I will take that memory to my grave. I'm fucking gutted he's retired tbh. Was hoping we'd be in a secure come the last game of the season and he could at least come on and hobble about for the last minute to get the goodbye he deserved. Not sure if that's still possible but delighted he'll still be at the club. Top, top guy.
Rivers Cuomo
No Hendry tonight. Looks like we have dropped our trousers to Celtic. Edited January 30, 2018 by Rivers Cuomo
DigOutYourSoul
No Hendry tonight. Looks like we have dropped our trousers to Celtic. Pretty sure Hendry is in that picture. Few people should maybe take the word of the club as the truth now after some of the stuff people were saying before the first game.
RossDee01
No Hendry tonight. Looks like we have dropped our trousers to Celtic. Gutted but hopefully it was a decent fee. Also all the best to the lad, gave nothing short of 100% for us every time he played and celebrated every goal like a fan. Top lad and future Scotland internationalist.
