Just what we were crying out for...another midfielder. Can we not nab a decent league 1 player on a short term loan until they start up again?

No. There's no such thing as a short term loan (other than an emergency 7 day loan for a keeper). Any loan must run to 9th June.

Any defender or midfielder coming in on loan would need to be exceptionally talented to dislodge any of the players we have in these areas - but perhaps we need cover for injuries and suspensions in these positions.

What we need is goal scorer to compliment what we already have to allow for more options up front - the strikers we have an important role to play, but we need more options in this area to make things click.

Dick is well aware of this and I am sure will be bringing in a few more players soon to hopefully gel with the squad we have.

Classic Lichties Shirt Semi Final - Result

The 1977-80 Home shirt is victorious in the 1st semi final of the TASC favourite Lichties shirt competition. The 77-80 shirt beat out the 96/97 away shirt by only 5 votes. The Lichties wore this unsponsored Admiral made shirt for 3 seasons. All 3 seasons that the team wore this shirt were played in the 2nd tier in Scotland. After 9th and 10th (out of 14) place finishes to keep the club up we were unfortunately relegated in the 1979/80 season after finishing 2nd bottom. The club also wore the shirt when making the Quarter Final stage of the 1978/79 League cup, losing out over 2 legs to eventual winners Glasgow Rangers.
