The work Brian Cargill and Johnny Booth are doing to raise funds can’t go unnoticed either. Yes place looks good and all the advertising makes it seem livelier.One minor ‘repair’ needed - noticed last season the goals at the harbour end are no longer perpendicular, and the 6 yard box is somewhat raised above the level of the rest of the turf.Talking of goalposts reminded me of the unusual elliptical (?) shaped goalposts at Gayfield in the 60s and 70s.
