Why though? Pubs open indoors and out 1m rule, resteraunts open, zoos etc. Also indoor events such as the snooker world championships to have fans indoors at the end of this week.

Football is outdoors with 1m easily achievable and face coverings can also be implemented. Would there be a reasonable argument not to go back. Under 1% of tests coming back positive. Under these circumstances I don't think having crowds of some size would be a huge issue.

2500 at county cricket friendlies, and 5000 admitted to the final day at Goodwood on Saturday. Some English non league clubs allowed to play friendlies with crowds this weekend too. As you mention it’s completely beyond me why you can sit in a pub but not attend a football match.

Cant see us being back in the ground until 2021

Wouldn't surprise me to be honest with how stupid, hysterical and irrational the world has become in the last couple of months. All sense of perspective and balance lost, driven by idiotic politicians and the media.

McInnes in his press conference today saying Miko has been injured but isn’t far away from the first team. Hopefully he can get fit and kick on into their first team, and given the chance I’m confident he can.

Hopefully he can get fit and come on loan until January.

Scott Gallacher

Arbroath FC are delighted to announce the signing of experienced goalkeeper Scott Gallacher, who becomes our second signing of the summer.

Scott (31) began his career with Rangers and was part of the Under 19 Rangers team who won the League and Scottish Youth Cup in the 2006-2007 and 2007-2008 seasons.

Whilst at Rangers Scott represented Scotland at U21 level before gaining experience with loan spells at Cowdenbeath, Airdrieonians and Forfar Athletic where Manager Dick Campbell took him to Station Park for the 2010-2011 season where he made 29 appearances.

Scott left Ibrox after 6 seasons and moved to Edinburgh securing a move to Tynecastle where he spent two seasons and again had a short loan to Forfar Athletic whilst Rab Douglas recovered from a groin strain.

In the last 6 seasons Scott has been at Alloa Athletic, St Mirren, Hibernian, Dumbarton and spent last two seasons at Airdrieonians.

Scott moved from Dumbarton to Airdrieonians to be the number 1 keeper but just 2 games into the 2018/2019 season, Scott suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury against Montrose.

Scott has battled back from this injury and regained the number 1 spot at Airdrieonians in January keeping 5 clean sheets in 7 games before the season was cut short.

Lichties will know Scott from the Championship play-off final against Dumbarton in May 2018 where a series of fine saves helped Dumbarton edge out a win over the Lichties (pictured)

We look forward to welcoming Scott to Gayfield where he will compete for the Number 1 shirt with Derek Gaston.

Welcome to the club!

C’mon the Lichties

Good signing,  steady no frills keeper   deserves a bit of luck, always rated him higher than Hutton. ..(who is still coming out on his Celtic penalty save).

Have to say a couple of months ago, I did not think there was any way we would get in before the new year, but now, I can see some in for the start of the season
