Diamond Oracle 716 Report post Posted August 28, 2014 Well because £16 is too much for a relegation scrap in the 3rd tier of Scottish football. Relegation scrap three games in? Oh dear...
No.6 9 Report post Posted August 29, 2014 I think Airdrie will break their scoring duck on Saturday. If not they could be on the wrong side of a doin'

rhliston 166 Report post Posted August 30, 2014 Not a bad game between the Albion and Airdrieonians felt they both sides had chances to win the game. In the first half Airdrieonians had one shot come of the post and just before halftime a free kick come off the bar. The Albion had a great chance in the first half to score but again the bar saved Airdrieonians. 2nd half the Albion gained the upper hand should have went in front but despite hitting the bar and a shot that went just wide it ended in a draw. Overall I feel that its 2 points dropped as to 1 point gained away from home. Happy our defence kept a clean sheet for once. Surprised Darren Smith was not starting for the Albion but remained on the bench. Still can`t grumble with start the Albion has made in League 1 . 5 points from 4 games. all gained from 3 away games. Roll on the next 2 games both at home after the international break 6 points out of 6 would be brilliant here`s hopping.

Diamonds are Forever 1,997 Report post Posted August 30, 2014 How did Ben Richards-Everton play? Wasn't up against much but was a class above anyone else on the park and got MOTM. Strolled it.
AlbionMan 146 Report post Posted August 30, 2014 How did Ben Richards-Everton play? Played we'll enough for a free transfer from English non league, nowhere good enough for Scottish premier, probably found his level in the third tier in Scotland. Was home sponsors MoM which says all you need to know about Airdrie
Imac70 2 Report post Posted August 30, 2014 The motm won a few headers but his distribution was terrible, lumping the ball upfield or out of the park. He should fit in well in this league.
Fashanu-AFC 40 Report post Posted August 30, 2014 Thought he played well, looks a different class to the rest of the players on the park.

[email protected] 21 Report post Posted August 31, 2014 Twitter made it sound like we should have won this Nah it was a very even game with both sides having ample chance to win the game. Both teams hit the woodwork twice and were through on goal a few times. Think both teams were just missing that finishing touch and both would have felt robbed had the other team won the match.
StewartyMac 878 Report post Posted August 31, 2014 A draw very much a fair result. Relatively entertaining as far as 0-0 draws go. Richards-Everton for them, and Wedderburn for us were the two stand out performers, both rock solid at the back. Good point for us I reckon.
