Not a bad game between the Albion and Airdrieonians felt they both sides had chances to win the game. In the first half Airdrieonians had one shot come of the post and just before halftime a free kick come off the bar. The Albion had a great chance in the first half to score but again the bar saved Airdrieonians.

2nd half the Albion gained the upper hand should have went in front but despite hitting the bar and a shot that went just wide it ended in a draw.

Overall I feel that its 2 points dropped as to 1 point gained away from home. Happy our defence kept a clean sheet for once. Surprised Darren Smith was not starting for the Albion but remained on the bench.

Still can`t grumble with start the Albion has made in League 1 . 5 points from 4 games. all gained from 3 away games.

Roll on the next 2 games both at home after the international break 6 points out of 6 would be brilliant here`s hopping. :thumsup2

How did Ben Richards-Everton play?

Played we'll enough for a free transfer from English non league, nowhere good enough for Scottish premier, probably found his level in the third tier in Scotland. Was home sponsors MoM which says all you need to know about Airdrie

Twitter made it sound like we should have won this

Nah it was a very even game with both sides having ample chance to win the game. Both teams hit the woodwork twice and were through on goal a few times. Think both teams were just missing that finishing touch and both would have felt robbed had the other team won the match.

A draw very much a fair result. Relatively entertaining as far as 0-0 draws go.

Richards-Everton for them, and Wedderburn for us were the two stand out performers, both rock solid at the back.

Good point for us I reckon.
