AsimButtHitsASix Posted August 21, 2014 Share Posted August 21, 2014 Is that how you got Hanley playing for Rangers? Wiki disagrees on that one. Hanley was born in Dumfries, Scotland. He was involved at youth level with local club Queen of the South, Crewe Alexandra and with Rangers before he joined Blackburn Rovers as a 16-year-old in 2008.[3][4] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

~~~ Posted August 21, 2014 Share Posted August 21, 2014 Once upon a time, a club sold a player, and in turn the club who bought him have sold him for a profit. I assume you're new to this football game? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
RandomGuy. Posted August 21, 2014 Share Posted August 21, 2014 Let's look at it "scientifically" See what youth systems have produced players called up for Scotland last season: 9 players: Celtic (David Marshall, Charlie Mulgrew, Andrew Robertson, Barry Bannan, Chris Burke, Shaun Maloney, Scott Fox, Gary Caldwell, James Forrest) 7 players Rangers RIP (Allan McGregor, Grant Hanley, Alan Hutton, Chris Burke, Ross McCormack, Steven Naismith, Charlie Adam) 5 players Hibs (Steven Whittaker, Scott Brown, Leigh Griffiths, Kevin Thomson, Steven Fletcher) 4 players Kilmarnock (Cammy Bell, Steven Naismith, Craig Samson, Kris Boyd) 3 players Livingston (Leigh Griffiths, Graham Dorrans, Robert Snodgrass) 2 players Clyde (Gordon Greer, Craig Bryson) Dundee (Craig Forsyth, Charlie Adam) Hearts (Christophe Berra, Lee Wallace) Motherwell (Mark Reynolds, Steven Hammell) Queen of the South (Cammy Bell, Grant Hanley) 1 player Aberdeen (Peter Pawlett) Annan Athletic (Cammy Bell) Ayr Utd (Craig Conway) Dundee Utd (Stuart Armstrong) Falkirk (Leigh Griffiths) Hamilton Accies (James McArthur) ICT (Stuart Armstrong) Queens Park (Andrew Robertson) Ross County (Gary Mackay-Steven) Well done Accies: on a par with Annan Your list is bizarre. Bannan joined Aston Villa at 14, how does that make him a Celtic product? You also include numerous players as being produced at more than one club, despite understanding why you've done that, its idiocy to suggest Robertson was both a Celtic and Queens Park product considering he left Celtic at 14 and spent his youth being coached at Queens Park. You've done it with quite a few players who clearly weren't "products" of clubs who had them for a couple of years in their early teens and released them before they'd turned 15 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
