HibeeJibee
Still exceedingly dramatic in the league title race going into the last month... Four clear contenders, three of whom are separated by only 1pt whilst the fourth is 5pts back but has 3 games in hand. Edusport Academy - 37pts, +25 Lothian Thistle HV - 36pts, +24 Spartans - 36pts, +18 Preston Athletic - 32pts, +15 (but 3 games in hand on rest) Among the remaining games are 'head-to-heads' LTHV v Edusport, Preston v Edusport and Spartans v LTHV. Challenge Cup SFs: Preston Athletic v Lothian Thistle HV Spartans v Cumbernauld Colts (over 2 legs) Knockout Cup SFs: Lothian Thistle HV v Preston Athletic Edusport Academy v Spartans
burghboy07
Seen a few games this year and I fancy Preston for the treble. If they keep there discipline they are the best team in the league by far.
Pink Flag
Seen a few games this year and I fancy Preston for the treble. If they keep there discipline they are the best team in the league by far. Could some of them not be stepping up to the senior side then or is there a bit of a gap? Genuine question as not seen any 20s games but keep hearing folk impressed by standard

Genuine question as not seen any 20s games but keep hearing folk impressed by standard First team ask for a number of them every week but some aren't interested. 6/7 of them asked to sign for next season too. There is definitely a massive gap in standard between the 20s league and LL however at Preston some would say the 20s are a better side than FT.
skynews
I went along tonight to see the LTHV vs Heirot watt 20s and what a great game it was. The scoreline did not the reflect the quality of play on show. Both teams started well with Lothian taking the lead from an error from a heriot watt defender and played some nice stuff but from then on heriot watt started to dominate and created some very good chances with the Striker one on one few times but missed the chances. 1st half 1-0 to Lothian . 2nd half h watt started on the front foot with some great passing and movement which lead to their equaliser with a great finish from the left mid who had been a thorn all game . At this point it looked like only one winner with heriot watt dominating and laid siege at Lothian goal wth no success and not clinical enough in the final third . Game changed on 70-75 min mark with another defending error from a throwing and Lothian got a second and at this point the students head dropped a bit and Lothian took advantage and scored three in the last five mins. Great game and I had a look at the both teams table position, very suprised to see how lowly the students were and the gap between them and Lothian as it looked like two evenly matched teams, as they played some great attacking football and were always looking to build up play. Lothian have pace in the team and have some exceptional players . All in all,a very high standard of play from both teams and very refreshing to see good coaching points being passed on to both teams and the students coach kept encouraging his troops when a mistake was made and even when they were 5-1 down . I will be back watching the 20s again before season end . Edited April 30, 2016 by skynews
Jambogaz
Was a good game Skynews, Lthv only had 2 subs , a few players are out injured etc, the lothian subs changed the game in my opinion. Highlights soon
