Burnie_man
Good win for us last night to do the "double" over Musselburgh. A tougher game last night than the week before, but a sweet David Howe strike sealed the win.

Uppers are a well organised Glasgow based team, who were Queen of the South Colts last season with some experienced players.
Craig fae the Vale
Planning on heading along to Cumbernauld Colts v Edinburgh City on Friday. Me and the Mrs like a Friday night game, and this one looks the most attractive. Anyone got any ideas first if its definitely still on (both clubs Twitter accounts are poor for u20 info) and the protocol for entry to Broadwood for u20 games?

Astro, should be on unless because of other factors, free last season.

Craig fae the Vale
Upper Annandale 5-2 Dundonald BluebellBluebell took an early 2-0 lead and looked to be cruising, but Uppers seriously upped their game and ran out fairly convincing winners. Cracking game of football. Special mention to the Uppers number 10, who looks like a real quality player and was on a different level from everyone else on the pitch.

Was told by a manager of one of the teams last night he believes Mussy may be next as they have lost 3 or 4 players in the last week, maybe Casey Jones would know more about that ?
Burnie_man
Sad to see teams struggling, but I guess it's the nature of the beast these days at the older end of youth football.
GNU_Linux
One option going forward for clubs who wish to could be co-running youth setups akin to the Forth Valley Academy (Falkirk, East Stirling & Stenhousmuir) alongside other teams in close proximity. It's a model used widely in both Switzerland & the Netherlands.
geo87
How does that work? Ie who gets the player if they show any promise?
selfassemblyshire
How does that work? Ie who gets the player if they show any promise? Sure they run that in Fife, where every player is contracted to a certain club but play for "Fife Select"
