The Compliance Officer and The Championship

Hearts Daft is some boy. SD has wiped the floor with him here.

No, he hasn't. His analogy is ridiculous. For one, CCTV camera's don't follow particular people around every second of every day for no reason and aren't allowed to. Also, this is a sport. 3 teams are unfairly hindered for 36 games by rules that apply to the others for 12 games and the diddies directly benefit every time a player is banned.

It's nothing like what he said.

No surprise that you've lapped it up though.

The fact is, we can't pull out of BBC coverage or Sky Coverage. (The sky argument above is hilarious, by the way) So we're being watched at all times. The rest aren't. Hearts, Hibs and Rangers will lose players to a system that isn't evenly distributed.

Also, the argument that we can appeal easier doesn't hold up either. It costs money to appeal stupid decisions and we all have to submit evidence of it so again, no.

Also the submitting evidence to get cleared argument- In a case like Sundays, who is going to lodge the appeal? The club lodging it would get their own player banned with a direct counter appeal.

Utter nonsense.

Is your club not part of the SPFL? Did the SPFL not agree a broadcast deal with the BBC, Sky and BT??

Once you accept the TV £, you're pretty much their b!tch. Deal with it.

So rather than address the issue of your player acting like a dick you'd rather blame the system that caught him?
How about telling him not to act like a dick in the future? 90% of players manage it fine.

OP mentions Stevenson getting punished also, for what? From what I saw he was just stood there standing his ground when Walker put the nut towards him, or did I miss something beforehand?

His actions that lead to the head movement incident, tried to run his studs down the back of the Hearts players leg.

Can't see how he's getting away with that. The hearts boy at least has a slim chance of getting off as no contact was made.

People dancing around the point. At no point have I said whether or not either player deserve the ban.

Walker was stupid and Stevenson was just a malicious little c**t.

Keep swinging though.

Either ban both and analyze footage of all Championship games or keep their nose out of the championship and stick to a league where the rule can be applied fairly.

A debate currently taking place on JKB that's interesting for Hearts, Hibs and The Rangers.

All the talk of Stevenson and Walker getting retrospective punishment has brought to light a massive flaw in Lunny getting involved in The Championship.

Basically, Lunny appears to act on TV footage and media coverage alone. There is no way he watched every single games footage from all the leagues. So how is it fair that he gets involved in The Championship when only thr big three will be broadcast nationwide every single week?

Basically, if this incident had occurred in a match between Cowdenbeath and Alloa there would be no involvement whatsoever.

Punishing the rest of the championship is basically reliant on one club making a complaint and producing evidence. The big 3 have no such luxury.

Hardly a fair system.

Should that apply to the fan caught on camera doing a Nazi salute? He'd have gotten away with it had he been at match between Cowden and Alloa. Thems the breaks.

Does Lunny offer anything other than 2 match bans?

Almost as if there's no difference between moving your head and attempting to crock someone.

Don't get too excited Calum, Jamie Walker doesn't get a start.

Diddies literally teaming in to make rip roaring arses of themselves here.

I'm not even going to re-explain how your argument is utterly defunct.

Nae wonder you're laughing - that's a joke - there was no head butt or even an attempt to butt.

The indictment should read: Jamie Walker - acting the goat.

Is pretty petty but they will argue his head went towards Stevenson so that comes under 'attempting' to headbutt. Players should know that any gesture with your head towards another player will get punished, even one as timid as this.
