St Mirren vs Dundee FC - 23/08/14

Recommended Posts

ETA: St Mirren fans calling for Dear Tommy's head on Off the Ball!

Goodwill and patience was always going to be in short supply when it came to TC. A lot of fans (myself included) were extremely unhappy about the dubious circumstances in both Lennon's departure and Craig's appointment.

A good start was vital for him. As it stands now, he probably has until the Partick game, if things are still going as they are, he'll likely have an entire support against him.

Chewietaffie calling everybody patronising because we don't rate Dundee despite a decent start, tripcode telling people it wasn't a smash and grab when he wasn't even at the game. I wasn't talking about you if that will stop the tears

I wasn't at the game but a tremendous result, especially at a difficult ground. At least one of our strikers are off the mark, a real fans favourite Peaso is.

It's great knowing we have a six point gap with the three tough games coming up.

4 games unbeaten for Dundee so far, that puts them on the same number of unbeaten games as Dunfermline when they came up last time and their fans were like this, going on about how easy this is. Look what happened to them by Christmas.

It will be all different once the other teams gel, get match sharp and suss out Hartley's tactics with those players with limited ability especially in the 2nd quarter of the season once everyone has played them once, I fear for Dundee this is not going to end well.

Celtic next. ;)

And just to remind Dundee fans we beat them today so Dundee should be able to beat them as well, after all Dundee fans don't rate Inverness. 8)

What's going to happen once we gel? We've had the most players through the door so your point is a lot of shite.

Or it might get better for us as our players gel, you know the team that has signed more players than any other team in the league? No Dundee fan is kidding themselves, this season is going to be a slog. We've three incredibly difficult games coming up where we might not pick up any points at all.

Sorry for Dundee fans having a bit of optimism though and sorry for Dundee fans lashing out as the team is being constantly undermined despite the fact we've got off to a strong start.

In summary, shut yer puss.

Billy Dodds on Dundee, 'They're not a pretty side to watch but they do play a lot of good football'. Thanks for that insight Billy.

He really is a t*t. The most clueless man in Scottish punditry, which is saying something. Auld Dick Donnelly, meanwhile seems to have some weird combination of Alzheimer's and tonsillitis.

Another fan who thinks 'this is going to be easy'.

You only scrapped a win today against St. Mirren, hardly a reason to jump on the high horse.
