The_Kincardine
No , darling has been poor but salmond has been bothin special tonight just shouting and bluster. Anyone thinking salmond has been something special tonight is deluding themselves Salmond has been cogent and articulate. Were I a neutral Salmond was the clear winner in debating terms.
HighlandSaint
Did he just read a pre written statement mentioning points that Salmond clearly answered?
pandarilla
Oh someone needs to get that last few seconds on a loop - Darling in a daze and Salmond applauding! Job done tonight.
orlandoblue
No one has ever suggested otherwise and AS knows this. The problem is there will be a lot of people who hear we can use the pound without really understanding there is a difference between using it in or out of a currency union.
Billy Jean King
FFS a total stammering wreck. Darling reduced to an empty shell by the end. Total embarrassment. That will finish what little is left of his political career.
LinkinFighter
I've been a No a Yes and I'm currently a Don't Know - I want to hear what these guys have to say and during that last segment all I heard was the aggressive guy in the pub.How about you do your own research instead of waiting to be spoon fed as usual?
forever_blue
Salmond has been cogent and articulate. Were I a neutral Salmond was the clear winner in debating terms. Yes but darling was poor, stuttering and stammering all over the place whilst salmond just resorted to asking questions and shouting over the answers.

Fotbawmad
Let me guess the BBC will say there was no clear winner and still uncertainly over the currency
LovaMan Bairn
Salmond so much better. Won this by a mile.
speckled tangerine
No , darling has been poor but salmond has been bothin special tonight just shouting and bluster. Anyone thinking salmond has been something special tonight is deluding themselves Going by the "specially invited representative audience" there was only one winner. Darling's applause very noticeably tailed off through the evening. And he was skwered fabulously twice from the audience.
LovaMan Bairn
Darling is the pointy man, very bad body language.
Casual Bystander
I tell you, there are some absolute crackers of questions from the audience. I expected them all to be fluff but they've been pretty much on the mark.

The_Kincardine
Yes but darling was poor, stuttering and stammering all over the place whilst salmond just resorted to asking questions and shouting over the answers. He didn't, in truth. Salmond asked questions to which Darling could give no coherent answers.
paranoid android
Let me guess the BBC will say there was no clear winner and still uncertainly over the currency BBC headline in RED CAPITALS reads "Scotland cannot afforf to lose 8,000 jobs from Trident" says Darling. No headline from Salmond to balance things, though.

The_Craig
"Best of ehh... Worlds" Darling lost it big time. And Eck has been watching The West Wing coming out to the front of the podium. Just as The West Wing boxset is on Sky On demend.
