But she gets really high-profile (in BBC Scotland terms) work, and anyone with functioning eyes and ears can tell you she is appalling at the job. I can't think of anyone as unsuited to the work that gets such consistently good work. Currie isn't great, but I don't accept he's as bad. McIntyre is dreadful, but more in tone and style than functioning ability as a broadcaster. Chic Young should have been dropped years ago, he's a blabbering parody of himself (about 15 years ago).Worse still than anything Jane Lewis arsed up yesterday was the commentator at St Johnston TWICE claimed score flashes elsewhere had put St Johnston in a position to go through when they were (and had been since QoS went ahead) 3rd in their group. Chic is the worst for me - because he is supposed to be a vastly experienced reporter and isn't even an ex-player, so there's no excuse at all for the drivel he spouts and all the mistakes he makes. Plus, I've never forgiven him for promising to retire and then not doing it. Jane Lewis deserves plenty of criticism - not because she's female, but because her job is to host the program and yet she is clearly incapable of stringing a coherent sentence together despite having been a professional sports presenter for many years.
