Mcfadden's only redeeming feature is his enthusiasm for the National team, and even that gets irritating.

He stood on Sky Sports and said the only reason Scots have an issue with Oli Mcburnie was his English accent. A risible opinion that didn't get derided as much as it should have.

I didn't know he said this.  Another reason why his opinion on anything should be filled in the nearest bin.  We have an issue with McBurnie because hes absolutely cunt at football.  It's a black mark on Steve Clarke for continuing to persevere with him.

That and the fact he's a ***, obviously.

I’m sure they will give it “we must mention st Mirren, they were terrific”. And then back to rangers.

“Aye, they were and credit to them for that. They were organised, they were at it all over the park, they got in the faces of the Rangers’ players, who, man for man, are obviously far stronger and they never gave them a moment.”

”But Steven Gerrard will know his side have missed a real chance to win their first silverware there, and what that does is it makes winning the league and stopping 10IAR even MORE important and adds more pressure to them ahead of that MASSIVE Old Firm game that’s coming up.”

“Lets talk about that Old Firm game now then Doddsy...”

Are Steven Gerrard's stars in crisis mode? Former Gers manager Alex McLeish has his say.

"At a club like Rangers* you're expected to win every game eh."

as well as every analyst and his dog trotting this out, its the way the rest of the studio nod sagely whenever it is uttered indicating acknowledgment of a "great, well measured interesting point".

"And to discuss St Mirren's triumph we've got on the line ex St Mirren player and league cup winner Gary Teale! Gary, let me start by asking, just what went wrong for Rangers? And also tell us, give us a flavour, what is it like coming up against Glasgow Rangers?"
