In the end of the day each club is running a business. You have to make the decisions that suit your club that you either own or work for. You can't think of taking a loss just to help a rival. In the end of the day each club is running a business. You have to make the decisions that suit your club that you either own or work for. You can't think of taking a loss just to help a rival. To then say clubs who made the right decision for them are not "doing the right thing" is insane. His argument was that the broader environment is also the responsibility of the members. Not many on Sportsound are bright enough to understand this one - that directors of plcs have a legal duty here, and they cant just decide to vote for a financial loss "because Neil McCann thinks its unfair". Am I right in assuming that Tom English - Mr Transparency when it comes to the SPFL - hasnt demanded that these 2 clubs release more detail than this pishy one line statement? Maybe they think they were, but they're conflating their club being benefitted with that being good for the game.
