English having a mare - again.
Lost all respect for Tom English over the past few weeks. He's trying to appear edgy and relevant by going down this rabbit hole of conspiracy theories.

As mentioned earlier, trying to count Brora and Kelty within the '10 of the 42' clubs Doncaster isn't representing. Fair play to David Currie for calling him out on it.

Hypocritically, he wouldn't commit to how many clubs would need to vote for the resolution at the EGM to put Doncaster and the board under pressure. By doing so he leaves himself free to claim their position is untenable whatever the vote.

Yip but if 12 or more got it think Doncaster will fins himself in a sticky position

As I said in a previous post this has got similarities of Celtic v Farry took Wee Fergus 3 years but he got his man in the end

Tom English is done.

Hes chucked his career down the pan for absolutely no reason. Incredible.

Stop being silly, do you really want every journalist parroting the same thing?

I don't disagree, but Tom English's refusal to put even a rough estimate on the number of votes required is hypocritical of him considering the level of detail he insists upon from the SPFL and others. He could simply have said something such as "any more than a third" and they have questions to ask...but no, he wanted to leave himself room for manoeuvre.

If you had said eight weeks ago that Neil Doncaster would be easily outmaneuvering posturing club executives like Nelms and Budge, before slaughtering ill-informed media critics like English then you'd be quite rightly have been taken away to an asylum. Perhaps the lesson learned by SPFL executives from the Armageddon fiasco has been to let your critics spout their mouth off in the media first and dig a hole for themselves in the process. All that Doncaster and Gray have needed to do in recent appearances has been to rubbish the grand conspiracies that have grown in their silence and so discredit the likes of English who have been batting for Team Budge all along.

So English thinks the top end of the table is an accurate barometer of who the best team in the league is but the bottom end isn’t an accurate barometer of who is shite? You would think relegation was a concept just invented in April and that the relegated teams were picked out a hat.

His crocodile tears for Brora and Kelty were also undermined somewhat by his insistence on calling them Brory and Kelta.

As with Doncaster's other recent interview on Sportsound, it wasn't exactly Frost/Nixon.

Another  interview on Doncaster's terms - just a one-to-one with a tame BBC presenter - last time it was Richard Gordon going through the motions - this time it was David Currie walking on eggshells.

Doncaster again just saying that there's been no wrongdoing, and that everything's fine.

The elephant in the room was yesterday's revelations that Kelty and Brora were pressured by the SPFL - Currie and Doncaster talked around it, without the question ever being asked or answered.

Chick Young jumped on the opportunity to take the moral high ground, and squealed like a pig.

Hopefully Doncaster is asked some tough questions at Tuesday's EGM, but I reckon the SPFL board will circle the waggons.

I believe Inverness have released a statement that should clear up some of Doncaster’s points

Was the 'pressure' not from the SPFL to the Lowland league about accepting Brechin as a member if they are relegated (as they are north of the boundary) and this happened well in advance of the outbreak?

Agree that the SPFL should be questioned on this but it does not really seem relevant to the current saga which they were discussing.

Well the SPFL have withdrawn Brechin from the play off altogether which makes it topical. My understanding is they were going to kick the LL clubs out the Challenge Cup if they didn't accept Brechin into LL, despite the cut off being the Tay bridge, all because Brechin recuited a relegation-standard team from the Central belt.  Maybe a change of signing policy rather than the disregarding of the LL/HL catchment?
