Needs more Ian McCall chat as well imo.

Ian McCall's first managerial position was to keep the old Clydebank senior team going when they left Kilbowie. Always appreciated his efforts there and glad he is back at a bigger club again.

Has he snaked Partick already?

Once again they are promoting the fact that Bartley is just what Hibs are missing. Wonder if this has anything to do with him appearing on the show a few times...

Kenny Miller calling Ian McCall “gaffer” on the radio is utterly tragic too. Football is the worst at times.

I remember Ian Wright doing that all the time with Hoddle, he literally got about half a dozen England caps under him.

Rob Mclean missing the St Johnstone penalty incident because he was watching *** TV

I was about to post about how hilarious it is they still pretend they’re “monitoring social media” and not watching “Rangers” TV.

It’s impossible to get from only Twitter feeds the amount of detail they describe

They admit they’re watching it now. The pretty much had to when they started this VAR pish.

Do they?

My original post was prompted by Rob Maclean hastily adding an "apparently" to the end of a detailed description of a goal.

Im sure I’ve heard them. They certainly admit to watching all the other games as the feeds come in. Plenty times on open all mics recently the VAR man has clarified something one of them has missed or got wrong.

Richard Gordon constantly interrupting to bring us updates of EPL scores is really fucking irritating.

Agreed.

Particularly annoying as I like watching MOTD without knowing the scores.

I'lI only watch MOTD if I don't know the scores.  Couldn't give a flying f*** otherwise.

I was about to say that you could at least always avoid the (English) Championship scores and enjoy the Sunday morning goals show (I presume that's finished) over breakfast, but I've just remembered that they spoiled it somewhat by telling you that a goal was coming up, e.g. "Blackburn were desperately in need of a goal, and they got it in the 67th minute when Jordan Rhodes broke free..."

They definitely have feeds from all games not at Celtic Park or Ibrox, but that’s because it’s the BBC themselves (or Alba) that are covering them.

Celtic and Sevco do their own thing for some reason and feeds from their games don’t go into the studio. It’s noticeable on Sportscene results when the full-time reports come in and Celtic home games are the only Premiership ones where there aren’t post-match shots of players shaking hands etc. (Obviously there’s no report from Ibrox).
