The 20 minutes or so I listened to today were enough of a reminder to not listen again for a while.

Michael Stewart attempting to explain rugby and a debate about whether Alex Ferguson would be out on the pitch before the game - when there was a miniature statue of him on a fucking table on the pitch to collect - among the "highlights".

Seldom listen to this due to being at games on a Saturday pretty much every week but given our match was on last night I've tuned in for the first time in a long while to discover that Lewis Jamieson is on loan at Clyde from Caley Thistle.

His assertion that “Scottish football has been so good this season” is palpable nonsense.

It shows just how clueless he is.

It’s been shite.

Thinking about it - if we're considering a good season as one with a genuinely interesting battle for the title - the 97/98 season is the only decent season in the last 30 years (thanks to Hearts being genuine challengers until the last few weeks).

Every other year has been Celtic/Rangers battering teams ever week and pretending it's exciting.

Surely Clyde Superscoreboard and BBC Sportsound could do a swap deal with McIntyre's Old Firm cretinisms fitting snugly into Clyde's nightly secterian lovefest and the chap Gordon currently hosting Superscoreboard moving to the BBC.

I think Gordon Duncan will be a Sky Sports presenter before too long.

Pay Bonner and Mikey Stewart talking some incredible guff today.

Yes.  Bonner on Ross County - they dropped their goalkeeper (not named) and swapped him for "the young guy".  Also, "they're the ones who have to almost travel down" for their away matches.  Eh?

Last week she shouted "goal for Kilmarnock"  she was covering Inverness v Ayr

It wouldn’t have been a fucking goal for The Caley anyway.

Willie Miller’s full time “report” from Dens completely failed to mention that Hibs went down to 10 men in the second half.

The most surprising thing about this is that he wasn't covering the Hearts Aberdeen match.......

He had no idea Dundee made a couple of substitutions in the second half, James McPake, sitting in a studio in Glasgow, had to tell him. Spent most of the time bleating about Alan Preston’s enthusiasm at Hearts scoring against Aberdeen. Absolute fanny.

Pair of fannies to be completely accurate
