He was on the radio yesterday, giving what I thought were sensible points on the issue - in fact the entire team were unified on this yesterday after the lawyers letter emerged. It sometimes takes him to say what others are too scared to acknowledge - the other presenters were, unsurprisingly, going all out on the racist comment angle and there was universal condemnation and calls for lengthy bans etc (esp for the club which has form). Derek Ferguson then started talking about how we "were doing much better in Scotland" on the racist stuff (his work on SRTRC etc), which is probably true. It took Stewart to say that - as well as racism, we cant ignore that Scotland has other issues which get swept under the carpet. It was only after he mentioned it that Pat Bonner and Fergie agreed. Its almost like ex-old firm players shite themselves to talk about certain "isms"...................
