I don’t agree with Stewart on this one but don’t see anything sackable with what he said to be honest. I get that’s it’s an emotive issue and rightly so but wanting to go through due process isn’t a completely unreasonable position.

I'm in no doubt the Czech player's comments were abhorrent. However, Stewart was interviewed during the match and said that we shouldn't jump to conclusions although I believe he now accepts that racist language was used. He tried to offer the player a fair hearing although in this case it was probably misjudged.

I'm tempted to say I'd ban the Czech player for life for what he said but that might not be addressing the issue.

However, your club's support do not like Stewart and all this, what I believe, is mock outrage from many of these fans in order to get him sacked is ludicrous from a club with it's history and heritage. It's the typical Sevco/Oldco tools of mob rule and threats to all those that disagree.

We then have their propagandists for Sevco on BBC, primarily Kenny McIntyre, interviewing managers for a league match not involving Sevco and the first two or three questions is regarding the events on Thursday.

I'm sick of it, if we want to have serious conversations about eradicating racism from society then lets do it, I'm all for it because it sickens me, but let it not be led by Sevco, their support  or their pandering puppets at the BBC.

Hear , hear

More damning , circumstantial evidence came to light AFTER the game ended !

He's on tomorrow, rather than tonight.

He was on the radio yesterday, giving what I thought were sensible points on the issue - in fact the entire team were unified on this yesterday after the lawyers letter emerged.

It sometimes takes him to say what others are too scared to acknowledge - the other presenters were, unsurprisingly, going all out on the racist comment angle and there was universal condemnation and calls for lengthy bans etc (esp for the club which has form).

Derek Ferguson then started talking about how we "were doing much better in Scotland" on the racist stuff (his work on SRTRC etc), which is probably true.

It took Stewart to say that - as well as racism, we cant ignore that Scotland has other issues which get swept under the carpet.

It was only after he mentioned it that Pat Bonner and Fergie agreed.

Its almost like ex-old firm players shite themselves to talk about certain "isms"...................

So, while Stewart can be divisive - I would much rather have a pundit who acknowledges issues and is not scared to make points that others bottle.

This is the same Michael Stewart who, last summer, drew an equivalence between statues of slave owners and the statue of the Duke of Sutherland. It was tasteless and tone deaf.

This incident wasn't really the time or place to keep with his "Look at me! I'm a contrarian!" shtick.

Indeed. He always has to be the martyr for the slightly discerning cause. “I’m a victim too!”  His false equivalencies are always self promotions.

"Why would a player go down?!!"

Can't believe there are still morons who ask this question and, worse, are asking it genuinely. Have they not been watching football for the last 30 years?

Biscuits is the go to man today for reaction on Hearts getting booted out the cup.

A few memorable statements from him:

"as a previous manager myself...."

"difficult for the fans to trust Neilson again"

"it will be okay for him in the short-term but its the medium to long term he needs to worry about"

Laser sharp analysis.

That could easily be Neil McCann saying that.

A Sportsound script ?

ha; that is likely to be a thing on Sportsound/S[portscene.

Studio guy to guest pundit: Do some research and analysis on recent games/events and come up with an assessment of your own that is objectively evidenced or pick from any of these three tired pre=prepared cliched responses we have scripted based on your previous answers. You can pad out any of these three cliched responses with your own tropes and favoured go to phrases.

Guest pundit: I'll take cliche response 3 just now but may take number 2 before going on air. In fact I might just merge them even though them seem to be at odds with one other.

Robbie Neilson is an utterly shite manager, but this interview is chronic.

Paraphrasing but: 'Do you think you should resign?' then, 'The fans want you to resign, should you not listen to them?' followed by, 'There's a poll in the newspaper where the fans want you to resign, what's your thoughts?' then finally, 'There's about a 150 fans outside the stadium demanding you resign, is it not time?'

He did give an answer at one point that seemed to be “I know we’re shite, but so are a lot of other teams”
