Why do they have to have English and Levein together when discussing Hearts. They are both talking absolute bullshit, utter bullshit, and bringing up nonsensical points about Hearts and the cup and Hearts players and Scotland. Just pish. Let's be honest here, they've laid their cards on the table for the season. They are not going to diverge from 10 in a row chat unless it's something tabloid. See the 'Aberdeen 8' or another chance to get Levein on to whip Hearts fans up into a frenzy. God forbid just talking about the football outside of the OF. When they're willing to bring on Neil Warnock to discuss a comment made by Jamie O'Hara, on Talksport, comparing Bournemouth to Rangers, they are sending a clear message about how much they value their content.

And he was serious. Didn't listen. Did none of them call him on that? I shouldn't be surprised but that is an example of why so many have turned off the show recently.

ilostmyself
Just listened to Mondays podcast, no idea why English has chosen the treatment of Hearts as a hill to die on. Daryl Broadfoot absolutely wipes the floor with him with simple facts and logic. English only has one argument, the Premiership is being treated differently than the leagues below, which isn't in question. Bizarre stuff.
East Coast Warrior
“Let’s make it about Hearts again, Tom” Broadfoot. He’ll no be getting back on the podcast.
Jackie Chiles
The spin from Broadfoot was admirable defending the JRG. A lot of crap though as the simple solution would be to just have suspended training for all league clubs who hadn't yet started training, and not impacting anyone who had taken staff off furlough. Quite why Hearts training at a national sports complex is a major risk to the game is beyond me. For those saying Hearts have no need to train this far in advance of the season, surely that means there is little advantage over the other Championship teams if they just carried on training? From a Hearts point of view, the SC semi is a red herring, it's so far away that suspending training now has little impact on that. Levein's point on Naismith was weak as well, especially given how often he was injured under his training.

wastecoatwilly
It's good to hear the tarts are still getting all the show with the top league is less important. If we look at the lower leagues there is not a sporting bubble even thou the players will be getting tested. There is more of a chance that the game will be stopped with positive tests and daft players. Putting guidelines in place and education video's will not stop that. Sturgeon's should have a few yellow cards before a red is produced given they're a few different stages to go through.

wastecoatwilly
GREENOCK MORTON FC – CLUB STATEMENT On Monday night’s BBC Radio Scotland programme, ‘Sportsound’ and in the midst of a live production, one of the panellists expressed the view that he had been told that Greenock Morton and Raith Rovers had complained to the SFA with relation to the Heart of Midlothian FC squad being allowed to train. As a Club we can categorically state that no such complaint was ever despatched from us to the SFA with respect to Heart of Midlothian FC on this matter. Equally, the only recent contact between Morton and the SFA has been a request to return to full training which was compliant with current rules and guidelines. The Club, as a consequence, has complained to BBC Scotland clearly stating our position and requesting that the broadcaster addresses this issue as a matter of course.
neildrake
With the absolute shambles he created at Hearts you would think Levein would be too embarrassed to even talk about Hearts. Someday a pundit will hopefully ask him if he feels any responsibility for their situation.

Presumably the panelist will be suspended and a pathetic grovelling apology will be read out by a presenter holding back tears? That's the precedent they've set for such things. 51 minutes ago, neildrake said: With the absolute shambles he created at Hearts you would think Levein would be too embarrassed to even talk about Hearts. I'm sure he was asked about it on his first appearance on sportsound a few weeks ago and pretty much absolved himself of all blame. He said injuries were the main factor and he was sure he would of got them up the table if he wasn't sacked
