craigkillie
6 wins would take them to 41 points for the season. You only have to look back to 2016/17 to find a season where the team finishing 9th got 39 points, and Alloa themselves only stayed up on goal difference when they got 40 points in 2013/14. Given that Falkirk and Thistle have both made big changes to their squad, it seems reasonable enough to set that sort of target.

craigkillie
But teams have done that in the past. Falkirk finished strongly last year, and St Mirren similarly the year before.
G-MAN
Why is Gordon Smith back as a pundit ? Ah Gordon Smith. The man behind the famous “...if it was all worth it”. If Rangers (IL) didn’t spend money they didn’t have, “we wouldn’t have had helicopter Sunday”. c**t. Always has been.

A despicable individual who suggested moving the 2008 Scottish Cup final to midweek to help Rangers on their mission to win friends in Manchester. God, I despise that man.
Dons_1988
Gordon Smith has to be the most vile pundit they have ever produced, quite the achievement.

TheScarf
He's just a bog standard ***. Proud that his club spent money they couldn't pay back to beat Celtic, literally at any cost. And fuck the consequences. No better or worse than any other supporter of both Rangers.
Mark Connolly
There’s plenty of abuse dished out on this thread, but sometimes you need to give them credit- Paul Mitchell and Jim Goodwin have been superb on the St Mirren-Hibs game. Such a shame that Gordon Smith and p***k You g have dragged the overall standard down.

It's really not difficult to do.

Was a bit of a p***k on the pitch but seems to be a nice guy off it.

Nice guy, real Hearts man but never gets in the way of his commentating.

DA Baracus
Goodwin actually knows about Scottish football which immediately sets him apart from the vast majority of the Sportsound clowns. Talking of which they were saying that it's a FACT that it's a different game on Livingston's pitch and that it's a FACT that the ball doesn't run properly. They never clarified what it's different to and what a proper run of the ball is but presumably they meant every single grass pitch given all grass pitches are exactly the same on which the ball always runs exactly the same.
