Sportsound Watch

Sitting listening to an Alan Green commentary for the first time in a long time - after about twenty secondsmy various gripes with Sportsound have completely disappeared and been replaced by adminiration.

What a fucking w****r that guy is. Absolutely atrocious.

Heard a wee bit of Sportsound yesterday - liked hearing Billy Dodds fighting the good fight against the SFA and referees while standing against the bland apathy of Richard Gordon and Chico Young who was defending the SFA on the grounds that they're 'between a rock and a hard place'.

Dodds was having none of it, so good on the jug-eared c**t.

Richard Gordon is the mere host and not regarded as a pundit - so is paid to facilitate and not offer his personal
opinion - that is left up to the expert pundits like Preston, Dodds, Bonner and Chick Young.

Willie miller today, Richard I take it that ICT and ayr united are due to play each other in their game in hand since all other teams have played 20 but they are only on 19.... Incredible

Are you saying that he’s wrong?

No saying it's obviously the case and he should know that without the need to ask others for clarification

Willie just can’t win on here. He gets things wrong - he gets slaughtered. He gets things right - he gets slaughtered.

If someone comes up to you on a Sunday, and asks you if it's Sunday, do you assume they're asking because they know what day it is?

I’d say to them that it is Sunday. I’ve been brought up to never assume.

Mathematically speaking it would be possible if ICT and Ayr had each had two games postponed against two other teams and the other 4 teams had had games postponed amongst each other.

But obviously a single postponement is a more likely explanation than six in a particular pattern

Willie Miller couldn't run a successful chippie by the seaside, no danger he'd be capable of thinking about all that.

You don't say.

If Gordon is meant to be impartial, he came down quite heavily on the side of the authorities - the very definition of safe reporting.

However, he's a Dons fan, isn't he? I'm assuming you're jumping in for him on that basis - the SFA don't have a leg to stand on, and he's fighting their corner.

Also, Pat Bonner and Chick Young aren't experts.

Kenny Clarke said it's a complete irrelevance to name the team the ref supported.
If it's a complete irrelevance why do they keep it a secret and pander to the idiots?

Because it's a complete irrelevance I suspect.

It works both ways dafty.
