bunglebonce
Last season's 'best of the rest' against the reigning Scottish Cup champions Will Stevie May play, or will he be reluctantly sold for English gold? Will Frazer Wright avenge the shoulder charge that allowed Graham Carey to score the winner in Dingwall? Will Jake Jervis benefit from metamorphosis to become a top level striker? Last season's results: 4-0 to St Johnstone (Hasselbaink, Wotherspoon, May, MacKay) 1-0 to Ross County (Carey) 1-0 to Ross County (de Leeuw) Ross County's expected - but arguably not ideal - line-up: Reguero Saunders Boyd Dreesen Celcer Brittain Quinn Arquin de Leeuw Cardle Jervis
Radford
If Stevie May goes, we'll probably pick the eleven players we have left in the squad.
Staggie#Wearethehighlands
Saints have to be favourites for this one. With us still bedding in a lot of new players, and StJ having already played competetive matches...............
Kyle
Saints have to be favourites for this one. With us still bedding in a lot of new players, and StJ having already played competetive matches............... We only have about 12 or 13 fit outfield players with any first team experience plus a game away in Slovakia on Thursday. We'll probably have the advantage of having played competitive matches, but we'll tire badly IMO.
7-2
Our Chairman is ecstatic about a transfer he's been working on for over a year finally coming to fruition by the end of the week so looks like Maclean will have a big cheque up front beside him on Sunday. Begbie
Can't make an educated guess on a score line because I don't know what to expect from our new look team. Hoping county will do the business and Brittain scores.
7-2
We'll have some infrastructure up front with Maclean IMO Can't we punt Maclean as well? Cheque and Infrastructure would be Kim Jong-Broon's dream pairing.

7-2
Do we really need strikers? All they do is score goals. Good point. They don't do anything that helps us bring in money like cook meals, sell lottery tickets or park cars. They should really be volunteering to play for nothing instead of being a constant drain on resources.
Mad Capsule
Anyone have any idea what the public transport of getting to Dingwall and the stadium will be from Glasgow as this is on a Sunday now? Thanks in advance
forkboy
No public transport in the Highlands on the Sabbath, come on! Nah, I think your best bet would be the 9:37 from Queen Street to Inverness, then the train to Dingwall which is about 5 minutes after getting in to Inverness. If the train from Glasgow is late then get the 25A bus from the bus station at 1:25. Not so sure about getting back to Inverness on time for the last train though, that's at 6:51. The ghost of Jim Morton
Going but cannae say I am overly excited about the game, which, given it's the opening game of the league season, is a strange feeling..A nice win might help my subdued feelings but I can't see past a DRAW.. Jamie_B
Ross County 0-8 St Johnstone. May (x5), Chris Millar (x2) and Mannus to score the goals. FACT.
Honest Saints Fan
This game can't be any worse than the two games in Dingwall last season.
Loki
This game can't be any worse than the two games in Dingwall last season. Were you that mentally scarred by the one game you thought they were two?
Honest Saints Fan
Yes. I must have been thinking of our games against Caley as well. The 4-0 at McDiarmid being the only highlight against you. Sadly you don't have the same defence. Ive been affected so much that I've posted this in the wrong thread.
Spain
Considerably more confident now that we've signed Kiss. Just hope the Carey deal is confirmed soon. Would be infinitely more confident if the May deal went through too.
RandomGuy.
Was going to make a joke about us parking the bus in this game, but apparently we're selling that for a fiver as we need some toilet roll in the staff toilets
