Your showstopper collapsing is usually enough to get you sent home. It's not as if she can blame the heat, someone tripping or anything like that - it only collapsed because she didn't use gingerbread and went for a sugar cookie (a term I hadn't heard before although I assume I've eaten plenty of them).

On the flip side, Jairzeno wasn't great last week and his slow approach was always going to trip him up sooner or later.

Oh and get calling it a jammy biscuit in the bin.

That's what I said - are they legally not allowed to call it a jammy dodger or some such shite?

Don't think the guy could have too many complaints. He was pish last week as well.

Only two mentions that the vegan lassie is vegan yesterday. Progress.

I'm guessing Jammy Dodger is a brand name and so it would be classed as advertising if they called it that. Bit ridiculous though. When the camera does a close up of ingredients any brand names are blurred out. Fairly sure when did  a background piece on one of the bakers last night even the book they were reading was blurred!

Focaccia then Ciabatta for the first 2 rounds, Giuseppe could win this week blindfolded. Barring a disaster in his showstopper, he’ll take star baker easily this week.

Disaster averted! Star baker secured

Really hard to see past Jurgen and Giuseppe both have been really good so far.

Thought it was the right call who went. Auld Maggie needs to pull it out the bag next week or she could be next.

The longer Crystelle stays the better. An absolute babe. Her eyes are particularly stunning.
