Abbeyvale 2-3 Lochar. Took it in after lochars win on Saturday Lochar started well and had a cOuple chances and took the lead then vale got a hold of game and went 2-1 up within the 1st 25 mins 1st goal looked well off and second was tight then Lochar scored on stroke of half time from a volley after a set piece. Second half Lochar controlled with them missing a couple chances before one long kick beat vale defence for the striker to round holty and score. Tight game but deserved winners

Bad result tonight for wig should have won comfy but not to be.... Well done uppers another good result. Dumfries teams seems stronger this year? Have they signed best of the Saturday amateur players available with that league folding or what?

Our performance tonight (lochar) was like night and day compared to how we played on Saturday. Too many slack passes and were too far away from the opposition at times. Credit to abbey vale as they made it hard for us to settle on the ball. But 3pts was all that mattered come full time. Hopefully a better performance on Saturday.

Don't think uppers have added many boys maybe a couple but they have always been hard to beat especially at Moffat and Lochar have added 3 from amatuer league 3 from Lochar youths and two Dalbeattie players . only two games in long season to go all teams capable of beating the others makes for a good league

I really think the league could be anyone's this season, the better teams have lost a few players, and I think the gap between the better teams and the not so better has closed a bit, as you say southboundboy everyone on their day could beat each other. Look at nithsdale tonight. People saying on sat that they would struggle, lost their 3 main players yet pick up a win tonight. Newton Stewart meant to be struggling without a manger for a while, good win against Heston. Never heard much about Heston this season, expected to beat the ym on sat, did they keep much of the same squad as last year. If saints sort out their defence and WHEN (not if) soltys starts banging them in, I feel they'll be up there. Wigtown lost a few boys hard to replace. Creetown, fleet all said to have improved. We shall see.....

Thought it was scrappy milge. Three complete gifts for lochars goals too. All the best for the season.

Took in the Heston game last night and read the managers comments on Solway Press. What a bunch of whingers! If they do (as they say )get a poor deal from refs they have only themselves to blame.

I agree bud - not much flowing football was played but we had glimpses of how we played on Saturday but not enough. Likewise - all the best.
