It's pretty fucking rubbish that the overinflated Premier League prices have come to the Championship, just because the likes of Hearts and Hibs are too shite to stay in the Premier League.

Dundee were bad for overcharging but Hearts are taking it to a new level. The c***s.

Hearts have sold 12,000 season tickets so far. Tynecastle holds around 17,000. That means over 70% of the stadium will be full of season ticket holders, this means as it stands there will be 5000 seats (30%) for walk ups and away fans. I have no problem with £23 as the price matches demand, tynecastle should be pretty full most games

Hibs for example, have a bigger stadium and less of a crowd. whats the point bumping the prices for a stadium that will never be close to full?

Still £23 for a first division game though

So what you are saying is if the people want to see Hearts then you have no problem screwing them?

Forget the fact you may be out of this division in 1 year and leave telling any future visitors it's fine to charge £23 at this level.

Forget the fact clubs that walk away from tons of debt trying to buy trophies aren't popular amongst honest clubs who pay bills and cannot afford what you have and can't afford either. Now you have a chance to try and build bridges, you choose to screw over already pissed off fans.

It all really does come down to how you think the football industry should relate to people.

If the whole point in your mind, is for each club to make as much money as possible from those who wish to see them playing games, then this charge is fine and if it means that more money comes in than might have for a smaller charge, then the decision is entirely justified and indeed, vindicated.

If you think however that while certain economic realities must be recognised, there's something reciprocal about how football clubs should relate to fans - not just their own ones, then you might see this charge as on the high side.

I would suspect the £17 seats at Hearts will be used for away fans now, given we have less than 350 seats left in 3 stands season tickets are being sold in, all single seats except for 2 pairs in section T. There isn't enough left to leave parts of the Roseburn stand empty.

What im saying is if you have a 50/50 split of the roseburn stand all paying 23 or all paying 19 it makes sense hearts charging more.

Hearts don't care about building bridges, who cares what other fans think.

Here it is then, the £28 (£29.50 with booking fee) SPFL Championship adult away ticket. Think they should have lettered it with gold or something, just to justify the cost. ;)
