Great stuff at the first semi final of the mixed team badminton. It went right down to the wire between Malaysia and Singapore with Malaysia just edging through. It's India vs England in the other semi.

This is an outstanding 7s tournament, shame Scotland are getting horsed but South Africa look great to be fair, a SA v NZ will be good to watch.

There were at least half a dozen posts on the Day 3 thread praising the rugby. Fuxake, P&B has a love-in for egg-chasing? At this rate we'll rename the forum "Tweed bunnet and hip flask".

Seems to be quite busy on the transport networks today, unsurprisingly.

Today's sport has the equivalent of two normal matchdays at Ibrox rolled into one, another at Hampden at the same time AND a marathon, amongst other things. I think Glasgow has handled that brilliantly.

Georgi Black of Kilmarnock amateur weightlifting club competing in the womens 63kg category broke the Scottish record for the clean and jerk, unfortunately not good enough to get a medal but a fantastic effort nonetheless well done,GoTeamScotland

Rugby sevens highlight of the games so for for me as a watchable sport.

Tried squash earlier, fell asleep. Athletics and boxing, not bad.
