I think you'll find that the term used is actually "the showies".

One step at a time, A96, one step at a time.

He’ll learn.

Naga munchetty on bbc breakfast.

Plenty of good reasons to dislike her, the start and end of this clip being typical when she has the slightest conflict of opinion on anything.

Whichever git gave their voice to the Sainsbury's self service checkout machine - "Do you want a receipt?" sounds like a Victorian waif asking for more gruel.

PTTGOYN thread for this, but given that receipts are now optional (at Sainsburys) and you have to press yes to get one, why is there always receipts left at the self scan machines.

If you don't want then just press no.

Receipts are not optional at self scan in Tesco. Can't speak to Sainsbury's.

Tescos I use, you have to press yes or no regarding a receipt at self serve machine.

Not at mine, at the petrol pump yes, but not on the self scan. There are actually signs up saying please wait for your receipt if paying contactless to ensure the transaction has gone through as folk were tapping their card too quick and bolting without it going through.
